Dear Mike, I’ve watched your content since I was a child. I’m so glad you’ve started doing episodes such as theses again. Takes me back to when I was little watching you on discovery channel every day. Much love for you and your production team!
I love that the crew are such a huge part of every episode! It truly makes it more enjoyable with all the banter and showing that it really is a production. Keep making amazing content Mike!
You obviously don’t know the real Mike Rowe. He believes in Trump and all of this racist rhetorics. And is firmly against BLM, not the movement, but the idea of it. So Fk this dude and I’m kinda pissed I wasted a view just to write this
I’m not sure if this sounds too mushy but I’m genuinely so happy that I have access to these videos. Mike made such a huge impact on my childhood, his show being something my dad and I would bond over. Seeing all these videos now really makes me smile. Thank you for not stopping Mike, and thank you for sharing these stories
Commenting for the algorithm and for the sake of any viewer that maybe missed DirtyJ's of old and need to be exposed to your new content. From a young fan; Thank you (and your faithful crew) for keeping up the great and entertaining work!
Mike and crew, I have been following you all for 20 years. In fact, you’ve been the reason I got into the work I do for the state I was born in and love. Our team has the pleasure to work with amazing food banks, but one has the distinction of being the first food bank in America, St. Mary’s; serving over 55 years. During the pandemic, food banks received a lot of food and funding, but the past year, that has dwindled. Too, the decrease in food stamp benefits and increase in food costs has made a challenging situation for all. AZ often runs behind in funding for food programs (and education), so we’d love to have the attention of your production companies to highlight the work being done and the work to BE done. Much respect, Laura Walsh
Mr.Rowe I CAN'T BELIEVE I JUST CAME ACROSS YOUR CHANNEL, i loved your shows growing up and was OBSESSED with Dirty Jobs as an 8 yr old, you where always an inspiration to me it's great to see your still keeping up the great work , may it inspire some kid on here as much as it did me when i was younger
I just found the channel recently as well and love Somebody's gotta do it! I watched dirty jobs on TV back in the day but sometime after that I quit watching TV and used streaming etc. Crazy thing I looked up Somebody's gotta do it and it aired in 2014! Ten years ago we missed this show lol! Crazy and thank RUclips so we can see it!
What a way to make a crappy day great!! Watching Camping with Steve and Mike Rowe....can't stop smiling now!! Thanks for you and your team's amazing work bringing great entertainment. BTW I'm from Melbourne where Pete won his championship!! Thank you again for making a miserable day fill with sunshine...you're a LEGEND Mike! Peace and Love from Australia
**waves at Mike Rowe** Enjoy your content immensely; regardless of what show. ^_^ Keep up the fun and nice work. P.S. The banter between you and the cameramen really adds something special to the show.
I love Luling. My family is from Gonzales so I'm passing through there a lot. Been the the farmer's market there many times, one of the few places I know where I can get Mexican Vanilla.
I always feel so happy for people who love their life and how they are living. It makes me feel oddly emotional for perfect strangers. Thanks for introducing us to these people, Mike. BTW ... Mike's voice reminds me of the timber of a Tibetan Long Horn. Man, you could create an altered state with the frequency of that voice.
Mike I’m paraplegic confined to bed and I want you to know that you, your crew and your stories save my life on a daily basis. Seriously, I’m a real fan!!
The element I appreciate is how a chance meeting completely redirected his life, but still led him, with hard work and dedication, to one, if not many, of his life goals.
The great thing about watching Mike for so many years is that I could write the jokes in my head that I know that he was thinking. He was extremely funny in the water melon segment with all the jokes he couldn't say on the air.
OMG you are in my home town, KC, with the coffee barista!! I don't live there now but travel there to visit and you have landed in one of the greatest divirisfied towns in this country. I hope you got a chance to get into BBQ or Italian. Great show and format, keep them coming!!
I couldn't be happier to find out you're on RUclips, and you've been here forever. I have so much to catch up on......Dirty Jobs is the best! You're a very funny man Mike 😂
"This better be some watermelon" he says. YOU WANTED to go up it! It was YOUR IDEA Mike!! It wasn't in the plans....at least that's what it sounded like when you guys arrived there. 😂😂😂😂❤
I'm a Texan, and as far as I'm concerned Oklahoma exists only to keep Kansas up where it belongs. But I lived for years in Marlow, OK, and for a year and a half in Rush Springs, and I can't believe there's any better way to glorify watermelons than the Rush Springs Watermelon Festival. It's every August, and I highly recommend it. At the end of the day they cut free watermelon for everybody, and haul away the rinds in city dump trucks. 🍉
Mike, you should really consider looking into how a local town near me in Ohio produces world record sized pumpkins. The town in question is Barnesville Ohio and they hold a yearly pumpkin festival where some of the pumpkins weigh in at thousands of pounds. Would love to see an episode on the process. Your loyal viewer from Ohio, Jeb.
I’m still not a big coffee person but started learning about it when I got cancer and heard it was good for it, then I started getting into it more and more, I still don’t know much but it’s been fun to tinker with ❤
I hate coffee, the spitting was a bit weird, but I do love Mike Rowe and everything he stands for. He could probably do a show about watching grass grow and somehow I would still be interested in it 😂
Mike got his first Watermelon participation trophy!! Congrats my friend On 3rd place, But as you know "If not first your last" maybe try again next year after practice!! Also want to say no one got over much 30 feet and no 40 ft so that record holder at 68 to me that must be either luck, B.S., or because it was on the street it rolled down hill and that how he got that distance?
I'm like Troy. Can even have 2 cups at bedtime (strong and nothing added). Still fall asleep. Oddly, I don't get headaches if I do have to go without it.
Every water tank I've climbed, the safety gear has always caused me to take risks I wouldn't need take otherwise if it weren't for the safety gear getting in the way or malfunctioning.
I would think a fitting song for that town be the watermelon crawl Tracy Byrd. And the best part of this contest as you get to eat watermelon when you're done 👍
Gaffney SC has a water tower in the likeness of a giant peach built in Maybe the 70s??? We have the Lemmon farm peach orchards and awesome peaches in the summer 😁
We had a water tower next to campus at college. We would often jump the fence at night and climb the water tower. Of course safety equipment was not a thing. The safety equipment we had was cannabis. The fear made you hang on extra tight LOL
When I was roofing my "safety" lanyard swung underneath my foot my weight was was pulling me down from where it was attached to my harness, I was carrying an 80 lb roll of roofing felt. The roll landed on my ne k dislocating it.
Please tell me you had some of the best BBQ in Texas while in Luling, Tx. Luling City Barbecue right there on the main strip by the railroad tracks has THE BEST BBQ EVER! Couldve filmed a whole episode on bbq and how hard those jobs are while in Luling and Lockhart which is so close.
I live in monticello florida in the florida panhandle and every summer we have a street dance the night before are watermelon festival where we also have a seed spitting contest, and the girl who wins it is the watermelon queen for a year😅
Once I climbed a 110 ft crane tower at a quarry. No protection. The fear made descending a simple ladder take one hour. I never forgot. The mind is really something.
Mike Rowe for el presidente
I imagine all this hand holding, coddling, EBT, free housing, unemployment garbage would end!
Speak English
I’ve been saying Mike Rowe for president for a few years now!!
Have him guide Biden around 😂 somebody's gotta do it!

Mike Rowe 2024 is what America needs!

A lot of us grew up watching Mike Rowe. Good memories!
I love that the crew are such a huge part of every episode! It truly makes it more enjoyable with all the banter and showing that it really is a production. Keep making amazing content Mike!
I agree. I love seeing the crew be a part of the show.
Its one thing I've always loved about mike. All the shows he is in the crew are always a big part. I can imagine he must be a good boss
Mike Rowe is one of the best of us. His message of hard work and being welcoming of everyone is incredible.

If Mike Rowe would announce an interest in being president of United States - America would rally behind him on an all American ticket.
Mike! Don't you think it's time for Troy to get his own show? I suggest "Somebody's Gotta Film It".
I love Luling. My family is from Gonzales so I'm passing through there a lot. Been the the farmer's market there many times, one of the few places I know where I can get Mexican Vanilla.
aussie barista i remember he made the front page and on alot tv interview's
Mikes also a legend and the crew
Mike, I just wanna say I finally found my toolbox.. thank you sir. Word's cannot express.. you are a gift sir.❤

The art is not making a world class coffee , the real art is convincing the multitudes to give $25 for a 50 cent cup of coffee
The great thing about watching Mike for so many years is that I could write the jokes in my head that I know that he was thinking. He was extremely funny in the water melon segment with all the jokes he couldn't say on the air.

Some friends of mine worked alongside James Mace. He Died of a heart attack a while ago. They only had nice things to say about him.
I couldn't be happier to find out you're on RUclips, and you've been here forever. I have so much to catch up on......Dirty Jobs is the best! You're a very funny man Mike 😂
Can’t wait for that book about safety precautions becoming problems Mike! I got some words for that book!!!!

Hi Mike loved this ad my first episode loved the water tower but the seed spitting song was the icing on the water Mellon lol.
Grew up in Houston. I have been to Luling for many things to do,but never seed spitting. Looks like I'm going to Luling again. Thanks, Mike.
living in southern texas for many years ive heard of the seed spitting place but i never really thought too hard about it thats so cool!
My siblings and I always had watermelon seed wars. You squeeze them between your fingers while they’re still wet, and they shoot like bullets.
Always informative and fun!! Thank you Mike!
Mike you make giggle all the way though the video. Thank you!
i love mike rowe and I am so happy to see new content from him .. keep doin' the dirty work mike C:
Great show Mike. Loved the water tower tank. Beautiful.
Mike giving Troy a hard time always makes me laugh
I love coffee myself! Good job once again Mike.
God bless you Tucker!! 🇺🇸❤👍🏻

I remember back in the 60's doing a city watermelon seed spitting contest (it was in Northern Illinois).
Good, honest, and down to earth!
4:05 to 4:15 . Squeak , squeak of Mike's shoes . So Funny !!!😂
It’s interesting Mike always has Bible references in his speech if you’re familiar with biblical doctrine. God bless this brother!
Loving the new show!
Loved this episode. Funny, witty and weird 😂😅
watching this from sweden!

Oh dear, I could make an inappropriate remark based on the title, but I think I’ll just enjoy the episode instead. 😊
I done it for ya lol 😂

I instantly thought the same thing 😚. I will volunteer myself. 😂
Mike's new saying, what can go wrong!
Mike, you are a natural.
When you’ve got mosquitos in the middle of the day, that’s a big mosquito problem
Too much fun!!!❤😂
There is a cherry pit spitting contest in Osoyoos, BC, Canada. Not sure if it is world famous but fun 😊
mike rowe for president!
In my family (Dad, myself, my sister and my late Mom), can and could all drink coffee right before bed and go right to sleep. So I can relate.
Rush springs in Oklahoma has a watermelon festival every year also
I lived in Luling when I was a kid. Guess I need to visit again!
Tasty episode, thanks.
Mike got his first Watermelon participation trophy!! Congrats my friend On 3rd place, But as you know "If not first your last" maybe try again next year after practice!! I sandblasted the inside n outside of water tanks for years. Morning climb was always toughest.
Kansas Cityyyyyy!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
The jokes write themselves in this episode
I'm like Troy. Can even have 2 cups at bedtime (strong and nothing added). Still fall asleep. Oddly, I don't get headaches if I do have to go without it.
Fantastic show..
When you visit the Watermelon Festival, just remember if you drink don't drive, do the Watermelon Crawl.
What a great town!
“Take that seed and blow Mike” 😂😂😂😂
Every water tank I've climbed, the safety gear has always caused me to take risks I wouldn't need take otherwise if it weren't for the safety gear getting in the way or malfunctioning.
Climbing the water tower looked similar to me in climbing wind turbines when I did that in 1988-89. (In Tehachapi,CA)
I would think a fitting song for that town be the watermelon crawl Tracy Byrd. And the best part of this contest as you get to eat watermelon when you're done 👍
As a cameraman I wouldn't be able to resist asking you a couple questions myself either
Wheeeee! Spin us again Mike!! 🤣💜👾💜
Gaffney SC has a water tower in the likeness of a giant peach built in Maybe the 70s??? We have the Lemmon farm peach orchards and awesome peaches in the summer 😁
That was awesome!!
How am I just finding this ? Lol , I’m about to watch all these
I love mike rowe
I wonder for how much his taste buds are insured 😮😊
Check out Donkey Coffee in Athens, OH. Also, check out the RVA Watermelon festival. We don’t have seeds in ours! 🤣
tHANKS so much
If I was blind I'd think they were blowing their noses. Not slurping coffee! Hahahaha
My two favorite thing watermelon and coffee in my favorite city KC
thanks for sharing
We had a water tower next to campus at college. We would often jump the fence at night and climb the water tower. Of course safety equipment was not a thing. The safety equipment we had was cannabis. The fear made you hang on extra tight LOL

Talking about mosquitoes that's the state bird in Minnesota lol
Mike did a fine job spitting that watermelon seed. For a second, I thought he might inhale it, but it really flew out of his mouth.
One fountain to see while in KCMO is the fallen firefighters monument and fountain
Once I climbed a 110 ft crane tower at a quarry.
No protection. The fear made descending a simple ladder take one hour.
