Be sure to wipe off the fingerprint smudges on the code pad. In the video it's easy to see what keys were pressed before which can give clues to thieves.
Right now, Lowes has these on sale for $179.00. It's worth it at that price. IMO, these safes were never manufactured to keep out someone determined to get in. For that, you're looking at spending more than $1500.00, for similar sized safe. For $179.00, it's good to keep kids away from guns and the local drug addict, who breaks in for quick cash. Also good for fires, to a point.
Have you noticed the keypad doesn’t respond the moment you touch it to wake it up? I’m nervous storing a firearm in here obviously god forbid I would need it I may not be able to get into the safe fast enough to retrieve it…let me know if I’m doing something wrong please. Otherwise phenomenal video!
Does it actually keep lighting up the indicator whenever the alarm is set? That seems like a poor design that will drain out the batteries unnecessarily.
Man I thought I was the only one ours doesn't lock doesn't matter if you have a code or set the alarm I can still open it with/without a code or while the alarm is on/off smh
I have some troubles, I have the same sentry safe and I lost the manual so the factory code was there. Do you know how can I obtain it? I've tried to call the company buy nobody answered me also I sent an email and was the same

Havea digital key pad like that one need new battery compartment shorted out .
And what numbers do you Need to, put in to set up your alarm so you could know if someone trying to get in the safe?

Key pad goes out ? You have keys to open it ?
There is a 9volt battery to use on exterior of batteries go out. Keys are for something else.

How do I lock it.I set up the code and when I close the door and turn the handle to lock,I can just turn the handle again and open it back up

I found out you need to unscrew the bolt that's blocking it from the inside smh
