    I've always loved how Dan can pull profundity from the absurd and dilute wisdom with just enough profanity to let your mind metabolize it; before your brain recognises truth and locks down, anticipating threat or pain.

    Damn. Great conversation. That family shit is hard. I found Harmontown while going through a rough divorce (2 kids) and Dan's honesty and vulnerability really helped me. And from the perspective of a 'No Stakes Rapper', channel what you're going through into your music. There's a lot of human beings who can relate. Peace.

    This conversation and I found each other at a very nice time for me. It's just..... Nice. I dunno. Couldn't find passion for anything tonight but I let this conversation wash over me for some reason and something about the honesty of this (I think? earnestness.? something like that) is just. Yea. helpful. Something about this fit when everything else seemed a world away. What was said kinda worked too, but really just the atmosphere of it, really hit a spot for me atm. So. Thanks for sharing

    I listened to you on Harmontown a few times and never really got to know you as a person. I am a huge fan of Dan, but didn't realize how similar I am to you! Going through a divorce the last couple of years gave me a chance to learn a lot about myself and get more in touch with my feelings. I hope you have had a similar experience and are doing great! Thanks for putting this out there for me to enjoy.

    think about astrology like this: Your day of birth determines what part of the solar system you are from, as the earth travels through the solar system like a little space ship, and it's in a similar spot on the same day each year. It's about physical positioning in space. People born in the same month are from the same sector of the solar system. It's not 12 distinct personalities, it's a perfectly continuous circle of infinite points just like an octave, we divide it into 12 for convenience.

      @7:24 Science behind astrology is that the moon ceates tides by pulling water from Earth's surface, even tho it's only 1/10th the gravity of Earth, & since our bodies are 70+% water, especially our brains, so orbiting bodies would have pull on water movement in our cells (higgs-boson shiz). In a data explanation, the uNiVerse is best designed database EVA & the categories to determine what's grown/viable, would be decided by some unique relation. Since the placement/pull of the water within the body is influenced by stellar movement, having that embed specific traits would allow the database designer to choose what variables will mix/interact/alter & have their own branch in the database management system. Plus, celestial bodies are part of the Creation that we can't alter. Race/location of birth, WE CAN CHANGE, so any data produced based on race/location would be flawed & have to have unique id added w/ no normalized tables. If celestial bodies shaped us coming into existence, they're exact locations are more logical 'Qualifiers' as determinations where race/location could be designations...or something. Life would want us to mix race/location variations so it wouldn't always be able to be the base for table in a database depending on why it's designed

      the moons gravity doesn't just pull on the water in the world or in your body, it pulls on all mass(having mass at all is due to the higgs boson though).
      Its just that there's so much water on the earth and water can flow, so its one of the more visible affects of the moons pull. Strength of gravity also tapers off rather quickly, so a car in your driveway would create a stronger gravitational force on your body that the force of things much further than the moon. These gravitational forces are slowly shifting constantly, but I've never heard of a compelling mechanism which describes a relation between total resulting gravitational force on a child at birth and their emotional development. especially when epigenetics and childhood environment can entirely change a child.
      If you could have a super accurate gravitometer, like superconducting beryllium sphere style, and measure the precise strength of gravity at the same time on the same day but across town, or in a different time zone, it would result in very slightly different values. like clearly the earth is the strongest gravitational force we experience, and the subtle shift based on planetary arrangement would rarely even move the needle of force away from the direction of the already present gravitational field of earth.

    • @RavenousCatalyst594
      @RavenousCatalyst594 Год назад

      @@colinmcnamara344 for real tho! since it is something we can't measure for it almost makes it more likely that the creator would have created a way to categorize certain discernments, grouping that can't be altered here. it would just add to knowledge gained. just think it's funny how placement of celestial bodies at birth is written off so easily. not saying we got the personality classifications correct just saying that syincing up differences with location of bodies and letting pull of forces alter category placement is a genius say to gain more knowledge from observations, and i consider the creator to be soooooo genius cuz this is way cooler than i could've created

    • @colinmcnamara344
      @colinmcnamara344 Год назад

      @@RavenousCatalyst594 I meant to say that although strength of gravity is something that could be measured, the differences in force according to changing planetary arrangement are immensely small change compared to the stronger/closer gravitational interactions on a person. or did i confuse what you're referring to measuring, like personality?
      And do you mean the creator of astrology? its definitely compelling as an idea, but i personally haven't been convinced of a mechanism by which it could actually cause all the effects it describes. I believe like many things, it can be a cool tool for self reflection though.
