That part, around 50 seconds, the lying down, then standing up, was actually done by a former AGT contestant, who also won the championship. I think he's from Japan. I think he's even twice the guy in black's age. It just proves that dancing not only requires fitness and strength, but also proper techniques coming from perfect practice.

TBH i came for Jisung but Jang Yoonjun honestly blew my mind ! He's got an incredibly insane skillset and demands your attention. I really loved this performance from him.
YoonJun is definitely not getting enough praise on this show. In my opinion one of the top 3 dancers on the show. His skill is so far above some of the other dancers it’s crazy
i totally agree! he seems like a great leader too (+ visuals)
i find that jisung has a sharper edge to his moves, he's a lot cleaner and his popping is very overly expressed where Yoonjun is more malleable and smoother. they are great contrasts of each other and fit so well together.

When Yoonjun went down and came back up as if it was in reverse was when I officially died. So much talent overflowing from just one dance and here I am older than them without having accomplished much in my life.
True, and the fact that they based it on worries and the dark side of things makes it feel like ( or what it made it feel like to me ) as if all of that worry and darkness chokes you out only to be rewinded, just so you can relive that pain on repeat.
That's what I felt from that move at least. I died too, I really didn't expect it.
You're probably still around your 20s or 30s. What you never want to miss is to do the good stuff you desire while your youth still stays with you. It's never too late to do what you desire.

Jisung is sharper and Yoonjun more fluidity. They are perfect combination. This choreo is difficult, really. Yoonjun created it well. And im proud of Jisung too, although he was busy but still did well.

Okay here goes my thought about those who said they want to see 'more than JUST popping' from Jisung and how Jisung was outshoned by Yoonjung:
They are ace for A REASON guys. Its already hard to synchronize dance moves when you barely knows each other because truly, thempo and sync depends on their interpersonal connection. And they did it, done amazingly.
Now, about Jisung who was 'JUST' popping there, personally I actually thank Yoonjun because he was the one who choreographed the dance but he let Jisung has his own comfort zone.
You may think that they should have go out from their comfort zone but please remember that they also need to prepare the group performance and going out from comfort zone could only be dangerous. Well first, their energy werent in its peak because they give it their all in the group performance. two, try to be in their spot, knowing your team is in the bottom two and still need to console it all because you need to dance not in your style, do you think thats safe? No.
If only they were to perform alone, then I would be happy too to see more, but this performance is already much more than enough.
Yoonjun 'outshoned' Jisung? Hmmmmm...
First, Yoonjun and Jisung has different aura and individual styles when they were dancing. Yoonjun is more flexible and he has wide range (due to his tall frame) that compliment him well along with his smooth moves. He was dancing IN HIS comfort zone, just like Jisung, so he has saved them both. Jisung, compared to Yoonjun is not so much flexible, BECAUSE HE IS NOT HIM. He has his own charm and you can see how he distributed his powers all equally from the start till the end. He has more cool locking and 'shocking' movement that allow him to shine in his own style, his presence was very ficial even when he is the smaller person. So stop saying he was outshoned.
They both know what they are good at and they complete each other with what they have. Please note the word 'COMPLETE EACH OTHER'. They were not trying to outshone the other from the start. Their main dancer time was given equally.
Conclusion: just shut up honestly. They seems to enjoy their performance so much and thats the main thing of dancing, they have their souls and hearts in it and they are comfortable and confident with what they got. End of the story

I understand that you being a dancer yourself makes you passionate on the topic but I don't think you should take it to heart so much. I don't think the comment wasn't meant to be taken that way, you know? Like you said, they had to synch up and match styles which limits them a bit. So what the person said wasn't bad, they said they wanted so see more in the future, not that they were disappointed or thought the performance was bad because of it. If they had to limit themselves it only makes sense to want to see both of them completely in their element and going all out.
The second part about Yoonjun outshining Jisung also doesn't mean the performance was bad nor that the person was saying it's bad. Regardless, he did, objectively, outshine him. If you were to get a bunch of people, show them the performance and then ask them who they were more impressed by, the majority would say Yoonjun. Again, that's not bad, but it is a fact. Creating a perfectly balanced choreography is incredibly hard and it would be too much to demand it but there's nothing wrong with stating it isn't perfectly balanced. Yoonjun created an incredible choreography though, regardless of the flaws.
Pointing out some flaws of a performance doesn't mean the performance was bad, it means there's room to improve and that's a great thing. It means the person has hopes for the future
I've watched the interview. Yoon Joon guy did the choreography and both of them were busy and didn't have a looot of time to practice together
Ahh~ what is even there to say? They aren't called "aces" for no reason, the B.E.S.T 👏👍!! Woah, they definitely S.L.A.Y.E.D and killed it, both Jisung and Yoonjun were so impressive~ gosh, such a LIT and DOPE AF performance 😍
PS: For the ace performances, I liked and loved this performance and GiKwang's team best~ such a jaw-dropping performance, but ofcourse all of the teams did great 😃

It makes sense now. I used to be so amazed by watching Jisung's fancams (of NCT songs), and always thought that he was too good of a dancer to have just received dance training as an idol trainee. His popping skills and musicality just shook tf out of me. It makes sense, now that I know he's a natural dancer. Truly amazed by this performance!
Jisung really improved here.. He is really good !! He used to be expressionless and his movement is so hard when dancing, i kinda get bored when i see him dancing, but when he joined this show he shows more expression.. When i know he is going to join hoya's team i thought he doesnt suit hoya's style that need flow, emotion, slow, fast, sharp and some contemporary style, but i can see some improvement here.. Good job jisungg ❤

they both are showing their own dance style and i love how they both complete each other. even if you're here for jisung believe me you can't get your eyes off of yoonjoon and then you come back to look at jisung again to see his facial expressions then you come back to see yoonjoon again. this performance is powerful they deserve 96 score so much!

what i learned as i was training in dance is that if we have a dance segment like lingering your body which means like you are dancing like you are drunk(1:35 to 1:37).... we have to put so much strength and flexibility that other should feel like you're drunk with them so in that part he nailed it and the interesting part is that bts jimin also did the same in idol song where the part comes like you're walking while bouncing your body with a drunk feeling type (i hope u all know that part)and i think these two are my favourite ones because they have different vives and sexy aura from that of different amazing dancers which is why jisung is better than him in such cases but the part that boy had to put a lot of strength to go backward and forward was totally crazy and awesome 😲😲😲😲😲

this represents haon and vinxen so good first vinxen was the kinda “sad” one and haon was the “happy” one but then they met each other and became friends and balanced each other like how in the dance they took their jackets of and they were had black and white on

Jisung really did amazing. I could really feel his stage presence. He’s grown so much over the years, I’m so proud. The other guy, Yoonjun, right? He’s also extremely talented! He pulled a lot of cool dance moves and he must be really strong! An outstanding performance from the both of them!
This dance takes such tight coordination and teamwork! Like missing one beat could throw off the entire performance. They worked in such perfect harmony with such limited practice. It amazes me every time I watch it. The techniques used are so on point with this song!!

I wished American Artist were trained like IDOLS. They're EC's always makes sure they're awesome performers.
Haha i doubt they can be trained like them, the training schedule is harsh and have little space for creativity, it would be too stressful for them. Training to be an idol in korea means you have to learn singing/rapping, dancing, language, maintaining good body, etc. They have many classes and it is sort of like school. I do not mean to disrespect they are not able to train like this, but it is just not american style. Their freedom usually will be blocked.. Lot of foreign trainees have walked out and expressing their concern about how this kind of strict trainee system not suited their lifestyle and idea of happy free life..
that’d be way too harsh. American artists would only get maybe 2-5 hours of sleep and have to train for 10+ hours a day with no freedom
The training is a little harsh but it really pays off. Later on, after their idol career, the things that they learnt can still come to use. Especially the being multilingual. It also helps them to continue being healthy and maintain their shape since they are used to it. They know how to be careful as well.
I mean, anything you do is bound to be stressful. It's how you deal with it that matters. Compare the outcomes. Ultimately, they aren't achieving anything bad. They always have something that they learnt to fall back on.

It was a show mark lee was on too~ also if you look deeper into the song lyrics, it’s a sad depressing song but it’s also so real, it gives you goosebumps to hear the lyrics. It’s crazy. This song was also rapped by teens, around Jisungs age.
