I Love everything Christopher Guest does. This movie doesn't disappoint. Fred Willard and his hair make me sad because he's gone, but he's wonderful.

Catherine O"Hara is a movie treasure. I went to this movie mostly for her and she did not disappoint. It's kind of ironic that the movie is about an agressive campaign to finally get an overlooked actress an Oscar nomination and then Ms. O"Hara really did deserve one. That isn't surprising, though, since Catherine has been turning in skillful comedic performances for years. Most people probably know her as the mother in the Home Alone movies and she was wonderful in those, but she's done so much more and definitely should have award nominations. The sad thing is that she didn't get a nomination for this in real life. That was for the year 2006 and no offence to Miss Abigail Breslin but her spot should have gone to Catherine. Abigail was nominated for the overrated Little Miss Sunshine and she was fine but Catherine's performance was priceless and stayed in my mind a lot longer than anything in LMS. She should have been one of the 5 nominees for Best Supporting Actress. It would be a treat to have her at The Oscars someday. She did get an Emmy nomination in 2010 for her warm and strong performance as the independent aunt in Temple Grandin. The Emmy voters are often more perceptive about outstanding actors.

I have met Fred Willard at the Redford Theatre in Redford, MI, they were showing Best in Show. Fred Willard is the most down to earth and funniest person you would ever meet

It’s time for Christopher Guest to direct another mockumentary.

@@christiananderson4909 My idea for the next mockumentary are former washed up childhood stars that have been reduced to Comic Cons.

This movie is for Guest fans, but’s it’s so watchable and funny. Best in Show will always be number one bc I’m a dog guy, but Consideration and “Home for Purim/Thanksgiving” deserve more love. And no, it wouldn’t surprise me that your 1/8th mighty Choctaw.
