When last did SA produce something as great as these videos? Honestly, guys from cars.co.za, this is up there with the world's best cars shows in terms of entertainment value, and astonishingly brilliant!
After driving both these exact cars I ended up with the 570s in my garage. The Audi is fantastic in many ways even the smarter choice but driving the 570 You feel you are in a supercar you get the supercar feel sound looks hard to explain it was just a very simple decision after driving both.
Nice vid, I think the 570 with Ve quicker around a lap due to weight, I'd still rather the R8 because it sound proper and won't be that much slower, much nicer to own/live with.
Top gear did the same drag race with the gtr and Porsche too just recently, mclaren won, so it's a good thing you did that drag race twice lol, didn't realise they were that close

Let's not kid around, if you buy one of these, you want people to notice you. On the one hand the R8 looks better to me, really love the styling. It's still an Audi though, the other one's a McLaren... Pretty sure you'll turn slightly more heads in the McLaren, just because it's more exotic.
Great reviews! One little bone to pick with the typical mispronunciation of the name 'Huracán'. It's a Spanish word, so the 'H' is silent and the 'ur' is flat, not like 'eur'. [uɾaˈkan]
akingturtle means the brand and product gets less coverage and may not get as much attention as it should. Audi on the other hand can get over inflated status due to their enormous marketing budget.

The main problem with the McLaren 570S is the distasteful exterior. MP4-12C was much more attractive.
