I have similar opinion and that's why when I hear people calling it a way of putting suicide on a pedestal or when they see me reading or watching it I get judged. To me these stories is trying to make people understand mental illness and I admire these kind of films and stories

RandomGurl Nixshi I think most people having a problem with the show is because the show misrepresents mental illness in so many ways and most of the characters are nothing without the mental illness or the “terrible thing that happened to them”. I know that mental illness affects your whole life (I struggle with anxiety and depression), but this show isn’t “starting a good conversation” for mental health. It IS glamorising it and it is making out like suicide can be used for revenge and that you can come back and see what everyone is like after you’re dead.
