Fantastic explanation. I really appreciate your answers to direct questions as well as taking your time to really explain, in depth, aspects of the procedures. Please consider doing more of these for people who can’t get to conferences.
I have a question, with the hysterectomy do you need an oophorectomy? For example, if a patient has had a hysterectomy but still has ovaries do they need to come out before metoidioplasty / do you take them out at the same time / can they stay?
I have had a hysterectomy keeping my vagina and ovaries, removing Fallopian tubes and uterus. So part one possible. Part two probable: Although meta does require hormone therapy I would hypothesize that having your vagina and ovaries would not prevent a urethral lengthening. The only way to know for sure is to have a consultation unfortunately.

Is there an option to keep your ovaries but remove Fallopian tubes and vagina and have a meta with Urethral lengthening?
