  • How to make a strong and very cheap wire hose clamp. Make them any size small or large. You can make them in stainless steel or ordinary steel depending on your choice of material. Very simple

    I JUST MADE ONE - with a RATCHET WRENCH for easy of twist and instead of using a washer I used a wider cabinet door hinge with an enlarged drilled hole in the middle and left the 2 small holes on the sides to hold the wire in tension. Thanks Jola76. You just helped me solve a hose leak issue without having to spend a penny.

      Нужно концы положить к штангу а петлей наматывать тогда не придётся посовывать в петлю

    Bravo! The same principle as the “clamptite” (eBay price up to 150U$), but much more simple construction (diy price under 1 U$).

    Nice job. Simple, easy to use, cost is very low, quick to make. A Clamptite will cost you $130, this tool about (from your junkbox $0), if you buy the items, maybe $2. Keep $128 in your pocket.

    if you ever do that again put a reversible ratcheting ring spanner on the nut before you twist the wire on. It will make the process dramatically faster !

    Trouver le moyen de ne pas avoir besoin la clef de 10...
    Sinon conception ultra simple et efficace.

      You could use a butterfly nut then you don´t need the 10mm wrench. But the tension will not be as powerful as using a wrench

      Mais il y a de la soudure et ou de l'usinage, pour avoir l'écrou papillon à l’arrière, et non entre les 2 fils de fer.

      But there is welding and machining, to have the butterfly listening to the back, and not between the 2 wires.

      I have not tested. But i think a M6 butterfly nut will go free between the wires so you can use your fingers.

      🤔hmm, actually the hose clamps will never achieve the tight grip as the wire clamp made by this and similar tools. The design of this tool is functional, easy to use and damn cheap. Another advantage - you can use it on any size of hose
