I guess you should include that the fault tolerance is built in ring architecture only if it employs a dual loop (in opposite direction). Else with a single failure the whole data transfer will stop. Token will not be able to get passed.
Thank you for your feedback. Routers are used for connecting 2 networks, it could be similar or dissimilar both. If you connect HQ with branch office over WAN, its still connected with router. The router is also used to connect Local Area Network. Hope it helps
