Hot Air Balloons Over ABQ Neighborhood - Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta

- I live near the field where several hundred hot air balloons lift of every morning during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta (the largest hot air balloon event in the world). I used the hyperlapse app on my phone to capture the spectacle of all these balloons floating feet above the rooftops and landing in parks throughout the neighborhood. Thanks for taking a look! (The last clip is a little preview of the short film I'm working on for this year's event)

I honestly thought the whole video was edited to add hot air balloons in them, at first. Must be surreal to see a whole bunch of hot air balloons floating around in the sky in your city.

Ehh is alright after 20 years of living there your just like ohhh look more balloons....
We went to a small one in a town near us and even it was amazing. We were going to go but with the sessions and park and ride it was so confusing so we opted to stay home for our 1st time on wanting to go. Maybe next year we'll just drive and find a place where we can see without going to the park where they will all be.

I remember back in 85 a hot air balloon landed on my street of course the balloon park was somewhat closer to where I lived back then before it was moved to it's current location
Back in the 19th century they thought people in our time would commute like this...
well times may have changed but there's still opportunities for sightseeing tours but me there's room for a crazy bucket list stunt I hope 2 do which is sprint 100m towards a balloon taking, grab onto the basket and dangle from 200-300 feet in the air
