let the image clear for people to see the results. By the way it looked awful on a low camera angle, could be because image had not rendered long enough to show the actual result.
Great tutorial! Thanks so much. Was just wondering is there a way to make this work with displacement maps? If i remove my corona displacement modifier I get puddle like effect like shown in your example, however if I keep it on I just get the damp effect like shown on your base layer.
Can you please explain to me what are render nodes.. I'm new to Corona n I'm confused.. I want to purchase the 1 workingstation +3floating render nodes monthly..but there's also 5 and 10 render nodes.. I dnt get the whole thing
If you multiple computers and doing network rendering ( like a render farm) than you can install corona on your main station+3 other PCs (render nodes).
Hi, great video! I have a problem, I followed all your steps, but my mask is not visible at all. Is it because you are using specific png or jpeg format? Or it is about assigning the material. Because in neither way it does not work in my case?
glad you like it. its a commercial map so I cant share it, but its not hard to make. just find a rough texture of a wall, concrete etc. ,make it black and white and play with its levels.

The file type isn't important, maybe you didn't set a proper uvw mapping?

thank you so much , one question is it the same process for vray material?
Yes! the workflow of Corona & Vray materials creation, have pretty much the same logic. Ill be happy to see how it turns out for you in Vray :)
thank you
you're welcome!
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing. What LUT are you using ? The tone mapping looks really nice
Actually, the LUT has a minimal effect in this render. Most of the color correction comes from the tone mapping setting in the frame buffer
