Litho plate, love it ! that and miralyte ply are my favourite additional materials, you can even cut it with a knife as well, simulate rivets and make the most fantastic panels as you are going to do,not sure it is still as plentiful as it was because offset litho printing is not as common nowsas it was with the advent of digital printing, one word of caution depending on what you are going to glue it with suggest that you sand off the grey finish as sometimes it reacts with resins and adhesives etc, funny I knew that you were going to change that nose finish ! you can beat out litho too,for this use multiple layers of carpet underlay stacked up,take a ball pane or panel beaters hammer and tap gently, with a bit of practise you can achieve great shapes even lipping the material, but I guess you will just want to cover the nose flat areas Rob,remember those toffee hammers ? well those make ideal lightweight beating tools on litho plate, glad you finally sorted those pesky roundal's ! never realised that there were so many variations of blue ? carry on you are doing fine spreading the word of real model building.

Never used litho plate before! Got 10 A4 sheets for £13 which i didnt think was too bad. Im just going to play around with it and see what i can and cant do. Im hoping that i can get people interested in real modeling, as its a dying art!

Yes real modelling,if we do not build then balsa supplies will be in real danger of vanishing but judging by the specialist companies dealing with it seems fine at the moment, not knocking foamies or ARTF far from it as they are the means of getting people flying quickly without bench time and lets face it many people come in from work and are too tired to build anyway,I fly foam as well as producing my scale fleet, another tip for you is to consider with the litho is an impact adhesive like Thixofix, this has the advantage of a bit of juggling time for positioning, you can gently slide it within the first few minutes of application,I have also used Hobbykings excellent Foam Cure clear adhesive,if you have not tried this Rob then stick a bottle on your next order its brilliant adhesive as it sticks litho panels very well indeed as well as a good general foam repair adhesive, where did you get that litho from for £13 from ? thats a steal, please let me know and I will stock up,I once did a Focke Wulf FW.190 clad all over and it looked excellent,I think making people aware of these useful products is excellent, not enough people experiment.

Not surprised as its difficult to get hold of now,at present he does not have anything listed but thanks for that I will keep my eyes open now for him to re-list,at one time the printers used to sell it to the scrapmen by the skipload, yes I will send him a message now, thanks Rob for the heads up.
