I think living in a van is quite challenging but fun and there is this adventure vibe that adds on to your travel journey. And I loved that! ❤ Also I want to highlight the convenience of having a clean drinking water in the campsite. ❤ thanks for sharing your van life videos. On to the next video 😊
Totally agree! You can’t get anywhere fast as there is always so much to do in the van but also it gives you the freedom to go wherever you want. The clean drinking water and great campsites are such a bonus here in New Zealand!
The glaciers were much easier to get to and see when i was young, I've been in the UK over 20 years and i actually find it quite shocking how far they appear to have receded over the last 40 odd years.
I love your videos about New Zealand so much. I'm very excited to be back there in december. Not so much about the sandflies tbh. Enjoy the rest of your trip!! What helps against the sandflies is a mix of baby oil and dettol but you need to love your significant other a lot to endure the odor. 😄

Ok for sand flies - as stated above - a mixture 1:1 of dettol and johnsons baby oil. Preferably put this into a spray bottle and shake well before spraying it onto your skin. The smell is not so bad if you both use it!

My way to avoid sandflies is my wife. They flock to her for some reason in preference to me (poor girl).
🤣🤣🤣 I feel your wife's pain! It is the same for me (Nico) they just seem to love me for some reason I'm always covered in bites.
