right but crabs have a less evolved nervous systom they dont feel as much pain as a human or vertibret animal would, I know its not pretty but its what animals are raised for even in 4h and those are some of the best cared for animals there are, it teaches the kids and adults to respect the food and know where it comes from besides treating animals bad stresses them out and will indeed even spoil the meat so its not good to be mean or cruel even for that reason but also moral, but I agree they treat poultry very baddly even baby chickens just chuck them on differant lines sorting the boys and girls like you would produce its aweful
