Great interview. I just feel you could have asked a few more questions like 1. Whether this 10% reduction is due to the transaction failure or simply people not making the payments. 2. Is it happening for existing users, new users specifically or across? 3. Are all the merchants/ applications compatible with our payment services through the pop-ups? 4. Is the reduction due to behavioural(privacy/ security concerns) or technical (already mentioned) issues ? etc.

Superb one! Great Flow and seemed like a good dialogue! I only feel one of the key questions that could have been asked is if the issue is occurring with offline merchant payments (Shops, POS) or Online merchant payments (E-commerce) that would have narrowed down if the issue is occurring with 'QR code Scan and Detection' or payment request collection - which was anyways found out! In all, a great mock interview!

A pretty solid mock. A nudge from aakriti for merchant vs peer to peer was spot on. It also shows how right nudges from interviews could be so useful.

In external factors, one could also have evaluated if there's change in the PSP landscape or regulatory changes by NPCI/RBI.

Her tone is quite annoying, full of unnecessary tongue twists. Don't you guys discuss this internally before calling such candidates? She could make our ears bleed by her super irritating tone.

You should check internal factors before external factors. Wrong approach

Not necessary ,if something goes wrong in the entire industry itself, may be it's competitors also performing in the same manner then we don't need to think internal factors right?
