It wasn't that long ago that conservatives/"normal people" were telling "celebrities" to shut up when it came to politics. Before anyone tries to pull the nonsense that Brittany Mahomes isn't a celebrity, she is still a "celebrity," because right now, more people are talking about her than her drama queen husband, who is the actual celebrity. Famous people who, largely, don't know what they're talking about should keep their mouths shut on politics. Do they have the freedom of speech? Yes, but that doesn't mean that we should care what they think, regardless of whether we agree with their politics, and they shouldn't become public spectacles. That last part is largely the fault of the media/social media, but too many people who hate the mixture of sports and politics are willing to play along when they agree with the politics.
