The piercing sound of that blown manifold gasket should be corrected. All One has to do is to remove the Carb and Manifold, scrape off that gasket on the block and replace with a new gasket. Then check for manifold cracks and the replace gasket and if necessary with a new Manifold. You’ll be able to work without That piercing sound. Good luck!
What did you tell Uhaul that you were moving with the car trailer? my standard is "a Mazda Miata"! BTW, in low traction situations, don't forget that with two brake pedals, you can apply brakes to the slipping wheel to get the wheel on the other side turning.

They are great where I live. Told them the tractor I was pulling and they had no problem with it. Gotta love uhaul!
