I just received a telephone from the dealer where I bought my new Corolla about "free" Toyota Care. I asked her about the oil change and she said only at 10,000 miles. I advised her that the Official Toyota owners manual specifies 10,000 miles interval ONLY if it is never involved with cold starts, cold weather, no windy dusty driving, there is no prolonged idling and it is not stop and go driving. What is the oil change interval on that? She promptly hung up the telephone on me! Toyota Care? Toyota needs to send out inspectors to assure that USA dealers do not "forget" to be honest. Any violation of the dealer agreement, Toyota should pull their distributorship. I rotated my own tires, checked my own fluids and changed my oil with genuine Toyota parts designed for my VIN number. When I visit for a "Free" Toyota inspection it will be interesting to learn what they allegedly did. ( I marked my tires, marked my fluid caps and sticks, and marked the chassis where the lift will contact IF they put it on a lift). It will be nice to see how much they "care" for MY car? Buying the car was a SUPER hassle and many know that Dealers make more profit on service than on selling vehicles. One dealer started out at $11,000 over MSRP not counting the pretend junk they want to add like Nitrogen filled tires and "security" etching on the glass. These cars are great but the American dealers are criminals.
