Hey Bernt, beautiful video, thanks for uploading, may I ask what lure would you recommend for fishing in Norway’s lakes and rivers ? I’ve spent 9 days in Femundsmarka NP in the summer and fishing wasn’t very successful, I had used at the time fish lures, watching your video makes me thing a float and live bait like worms would’ve given me better odds👀👍🏾 I am going to return to Norway next year & hopefully will catch something. Kind Regards, Florin Sirbu
Hi Florin! Thanks for your comment :D To bad you didn't get any decent catch when you where here. Either a floater or simply a hook beneeth some criped lead will do good! Check the series "aktivt markfiske" I filmed with a friend of mine. (Norwegian vocals tho). For non organic baits hunting trout Id go with anything metal 4g - 12gr. Colors you like. Be active and twitch the baits every now and then. My personal favs are copper/red - blue/silver - black/yellow. Femundsmarka have much perch and grayling. both species like worm :) Who doesnt! :D Have a great one! B
@@BerntNor Hey Bernt, much appreciated your advice and thank you for getting back to me. Fishing is like gambling, as I’ve found out, yet a great experience and I look forward to returning to Norway next year. P.S. I watched the, “aktivt markfiske”, even without English subtitles still very informative👍 Kind regards, Florin
Hi there :) glad you liked it! May there is still ice and snow on Hardangervidda. Safe times would be July and august . This was filmed early august, just before reindeer hunting season. Best regards Bernt
Hi! I would personally say October will be too late. It’s spawning time in the rivers in sept/oct and this high it’s cold. Chances for snow. Prime time is July and august.
Philipp Tillmanns the dnt cabins you can find on ut.no Fishing licenses are abit widespread, however check fishspot.no and Inatur.no . They are the best directories for fishing licenses online in Norway 🇳🇴
You probably dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all of the latest series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my gf for the last few months :)
Great film, much appreciation from Canada!
Thanks!
Flott film fra et flott område!

Why did you start in english but continued in norwegian? Most people won‘t understand a word
You have to put on subtiles.
so changing to worms did the trick?
Hi, great impressive Film. At what time of the year did you fish there? is the middle of mai to early in case of ice ? thank you indeed for answer

Can you fish there in October?
