That particular no-rinse foam cleaner is amazing stuff. I used to struggle with spritzing bleach water on my window unit and a lot of scrubbing with a brush (which I do NOT recommend, bleach can damage plastic and foam components) but the foaming cleaner not only cleans junk out, it leaves a nice pleasant scent behind. Thanks! :)
Idk about the LG air conditioners, but I have a GE and it works better than any window air conditioner I have ever had. Sometimes you have to turn it off because it cools so much!
My window air conditioner is smelly after one year of use. I have never had this problem with previous air-condition. I looked at other videos on how to clean by taking apart and this is a lot of work ....I'm so disappointed with this model...😬😬
It seems the one you bought lacks certain quality filters or has styrofoam insulation that is not designed that well ..the key to anything that sucks in air and exchanges it.. is the duct work and how much volume and how long it takes to dry..or condensation drips off the fins or drains off .like my old one ..once it got dirty it slowed down the entire process so it got moldy quickly .. making sure the air-conditioning is not being over worked is mainly the issue ..it had to come to a decent temperature then shut down with only the fan running to complete the evaporation..
I'm going to do this. the one in my shop is not working like it should. I don't want to take it out. got radio equipment in my building and I'm afraid it'll cause a mess. I'm going to try this right here.
I'm getting ready to clean my Haier window a.c. with this spray . I understand what you did with the outside,my problem is with the inside part. My filter is always clean,I've had this a.c.for 10 years with no problems whatsoever. It cools great but for the past 2 years, the cold air stinks like moth balls,it smells old. Can I use this spray on the inside part? There's a section that's electrical I don't know if that'd be safe. Great video btw
My unit is in the wall and has to stay in the wall cus of housing rules. Mine is filthy like dirt and leaves from the rain. I’m tackling spring cleaning tomorrow ... I do not have water hose access. I seen another video where they showed just pouring water down the top. Is there anywhere I shouldn’t use water on the OUTSIDE of the unit. I don’t want to mess up anything. JW. I know to unplug etc and try to let dry so it doesn’t blow water into my home.
Bobbi again keep looking at other types of ways to clean it easier .. I used a toothbrush and a dish brush mine had black soot mold on the inside fins ... The outside was dirty with outdoor debris ..easy because the cover was a chicken wire to prevent birds and the standard air-conditioning fins outside I used a spray bottle it is okay because it drains as designed ..condensation all summer is normal .a small wet puddle or small hose to a water catcher ..container is optional if you are above another unit most places account for such drainage straight to the ground and it's fine
LG allows any company they can profit from to manufacture products and put the LG name on it ..I have seen LG come up in quality over the years for the most part ..again I have seen absolute garbage with the LG name on it .. this is just how it is .. overall LG is good depending on the product ..do your comparison by checking consumer reports and online independent reviews

I Liked Your Vedio. Easy To Understand And To The Point. Thank You And Have A Blessed Day.

I'm curious is that spray foam your using to insulate around your a.c. ?
This guy would be excellent at painting cars. 😁😁

Can I spray shaving cream instead of the cleaner you have? I've heard shaving cream is actually a good cleaner.
Aerosol whipped cream works well too. And it tastes great on deserts.

Is it okay to spray the it with outside bleach?

@@Moxieman thank you! Much appreciated!
No hose, use a pump-up sprayer to wash it out after the foam is done.
you didnt show us the best part where you hose it down :/
Is that that yellow foam that hardens around that conditioner? Damn....that thing is not meant to be takin out....Ever!?
since when did LG have air conditioners LOL
I think LG created first air conditioner in Korea circa 1968
Lg makes anything they can make money on
