My most stressful shiny is my Shiny Grafaiai. Ya know how there's that one wild tera Grafaiai that spawns in the forest where they all spawn? I decided to run into it to see what it would turn into, and it was a shiny.
It was ten levels higher than my highest level pokemon, and I had to run away twice to keep it from being knocked out by the poison it had gotten from touching my Clodsire. I caught it on my third attempt.
His name is Stressful, because that was the most terrifying ten minutes of my entire life.
Mine is I found a shiny lycanroc but it was in coop mode so I couldn’t save and I accidentally killed it 😢 /update I just got a shiny pawmi in the place where the Dead lycannrock was 😄

Two days ago I was running around catching Pokémon for the dex and while in the Orthworm desert area I was thinking I wanted to hunt for Cufant because it's one of my favorite gen 8 mons. I stop to make a surprise trade, and when I go out of the menu, there's a yellow elephant right in front of me lol I was like 'wait that looks paler than usual' so I went to check and yep, it was shiny!!! I love him so much
Today I was running around in loops looking for a camerupt just to fill out my pokedex and just as I turned a corner ran into a full odds shiny Bisharp 😭 it looks so cool, already evolved into Kingambit! I confess I was never the biggest fan of the Pawniard line but recently it's started growing on me and this just solidifies that feeling
I wish I had recorded mine on Tik Tok, because I was just roaming around on Glaseado Mountain, and I found a Shiny Sneasel. And then literal minutes later, I found a Shiny Froslass in an outbreak. I am dead serious.
I did found 2 shiny Flittle in 30 min in a outbreak and the second i did found 30 second after the first one lmao

I have a similar story. I was in a cave and then I found a shiny sableye and than like 2 minutes later I found a shiny meditite.
I found a shiny litleo and then 2 minutes later found a shiny sneasel lol
I was able to reclaim shiny Cyclizar after finding another one. Those fellas are scary speedy!

I found a shiny Cyclizar and had a ten second chase trying to get into battle with it.
One time, when I was just chilling in Area Zero, I encountered a Raichu. It seemed normal, but also seemed different. It was hard to tell, when all of a sudden a normal Raichu appeared in the background to let me know that I had encountered a shiny Raichu. I caught her and named her Sparky, and I occasionally put her on my team to look at / picnic with. I almost failed this one, but if it weren't for that Raichu that spawned in the background, I would have missed a shiny Raichu. Thank you, random Raichu that appeared in the background. I wouldn't have gotten Sparky without your existence reminding me what a normal Raichu looked like.
EDIT: A while later, I found another shiny Raichu in Socarrat Trail. This time, I immediately recognized it was a shiny and caught it. Since I already had one, I traded it for my friend's shiny Flutter Mane. I know, not the best move, but my friend said she'd give it to me whenever I wanted it. Now I have a shiny Flutter Mane vibing in my shiny box. Yes, I made an entire box dedicated to placing my shinies in to look at them whenever I want.

My brother found a shiny Raichu in AZ as well, he didn't have the shiny charm it was full odds
I feel like my favourite moment still has to be the very first Shiny I got in Violet. I was fighting a wild Cetoddle, and during that time, a Shiny Sneasel decided to crawl under my Miraidon. So when I came out of the battle with the Cetoddle (which I did catch), I was immediately dragged into battle with the Shiny Sneasel XD
My best/worst was when I was casually gliching through the wall as one simply does near a beach area, and I saw a shiny golden magikarp. I had to mash every single button combination feasible to get out of that wall. I caught the shiny magikarp and his name is gerald and he is my son. I'm glad it happened but it did happen to give me anxiety for the next three hours

I found my first shiny in this game in Area Zero. I saw a Shiny Corviknight but I assumed it was just the weird Area Zero lighting until it charged after me. Then literally 2 minutes later a Shiny Slither Wing popped up out of nowhere
My first shiny was a paladean tauros. I hadn’t seen it at first because of the little change. I had been looking for a toadstool for my dex and it charged into me. Funniest moment of the game so far

For some clarity, I found out that the glimmet were spawning out of bounds because I had KO’d all that I could see, but I could still hear more. So I blindly sent my Pokémon to auto battle at a wall, and sure enough, they defeated some out of bounds glimmet. I then figured out that you could use the lock-on mechanic to see out of bounds easily.
I found this out when some Pokemon had their heads sticking out of the wall. Down the line I figured out the Lock-on thing. Seems to be as long as there is a floor beyond the wall Pokemon will show up there, cause I haven't seen any that were walking around beyond even the floor. Sadly I can't get a glimmet from my outbreak, heck I could have missed it cause it was only later in the hunt that I figured out the lock-on thing. Also in the desert area, the hill areas in the middle can have not only Pokemon but items as well. That's because the desert floor seems to go through the whole area so there is no holes in the desert floor if you get rid of the hills.

Did the same with a Misdreavus outbreak to make sure I wasn't missing the shiny 💀 also had a Vaporeon outbreak spawn on a boulder so I was frantically skating around it looking for a glimpse of purple.
My best moment would be when I was on my way up Glasedo mountain, accidentally ran into a snover while dashing on Miraidon, and then when the battle started, my brain had a moment of "hey, is that a different color than usual?" and then i saw the sparkles.
On that mountain,just after fighting the ice gym....the first Pokemon I saw was a Bergmite which was looking more yellow than normal.:)

My first shiny was Maschiff. I was only around an hour into the game when I spotted it. Since it was gen 9 I didn't know what it's shiny looked like and almost mistook it as a gender variant. It ran into me and I heard the noise, and I silently freaked out (mostly because it was 2am in the morning XD). The funny part was that I wasn't even planning on having one on my team when I saw the design.

I found a Fidough outbreak just outside of the first town. It was at night, but I saw a Fidough that looked darker than the rest. In 20 minutes, I had my first shiny of gen 9.
I’ve only had one shiny so far. After the first phase of the False Dragon Titan, I was chasing it to its second location. And along the way, a shiny Slowbro popped up right next to me. It’s my third full odds shiny I’ve found ever in Pokémon

Most of the shiny Pokémon I've found in Violet are full-odds. I have 14 shinies as of now, with my most recent full-odds one (as of the time I'm writing this comment) being Cris the Glimmora that spawned for no reason in Area Zero. I was looking for a random full-odds paradox shiny and then all of a sudden, this good sir popped up and blessed me with his existence. My first ever full-odds shiny was a Galarian Slowpoke I accidentally ran into in the Isle of Armor in Pokémon Shield. It was an unexpected surprise, yet I wouldn't have met her if I didn't accidentally run into her.
My 8 year daughter just found her first shiny and it was a male combee! She was all excited and was like "I'm gonna evolve it" I explained to her why she couldn't and all she had to say was "Why would they do that!?!" thankfully like a minute after she found her 2nd shiny lechonk!
I got my first two shinies of all times in this game, and both were full odds without sandwiches or outbreaks: Hoppip and Hariyama !!

My biggest shiny moment in this game was being in area zero and accidentally running into a Floette next to the tree outside the cave where Iron Valiant/Roaring Moon spawn where, after the battle, I noticed a blue nosed Girafarig had come to watch the battle. I named her Bludolph and I love her

My best shiny Pokémon moment was when I was wandering around one of the first areas, and I found a shiny Murkrow in a group (or should I say murder) of other Murkrow. It was fairly early game as well! I’m still quite proud of it.
This game gave me my favorite shiny encounter so far where immediately after finishing the catching tutorial, I saw and caught a shiny Lechonk.
Quite literally as this video was being uploaded, I had a fantastic shiny moment that I only wish I could've recorded. An orthworm spawned into me when I was nowhere near it, and then a 2nd one did it like, 3 seconds after I ran away from the first, and when it popped out of the ground, orthworm #2 was blue. My first random shiny since getting the shiny charm, and I am pleased. ^3^
It's so funny and awesome when a shiny spawns on top of you. That happened with a Lokix for me.

So far I’ve gotten shiny Scatterbug an hour into playing (one of my favorite shinies), but then I got Cufant and Litleo in the coming days so I’m pretty happy since they’re all full odds lol also, while trying to catch the water form Tauros, they multiplied like crazy on me too and I literally couldn’t move. It was run away, instant battle but I finally got to it lol

Also my (quite recent) shiny moment: Yesterday was hunting Iron Bundle and on my last minute of the sandwich boost I got it!!
Only one (so far) was the random shiny ralts I found on glaseado mountain while flying over and spotting blue - it's now the Gallade I use to catch things :D

My best shiny moment was when I caught a shiny bronzong from an outbreak, and then went down the mountain to heal my mons, and there was a shiny cettoddle right next to the pokemon center. I was so in shock, I thought it was just the lighting since it was nighttime. But nope, it was, indeed, shiny
My best shiny moment was my first one actually: I had just arrived at the 3rd gym and went to the beach to catch a Finizen. I caught one then my Smoliv started to evolve and while she was evolving, a shiny Buizel was just right there in the background chilling. I managed to catch the shiny Buizel :D

I had a similar moment to this and it's definitely my best moment, had been hunting a shiny Slither Wing for ages and had gone 4 sandwiches (with shiny charm) without finding a single shiny of any Pokémon, then when I was in a call with my friends I decided to do one more and just run around, and was able to find 3 shiny Slither Wings in that one sandwich, not even a single shiny medicham or Pawmo, was super lucky
mine was definitely my shiny squawkabilly, i had spent hours full odds encountering for it! when i finally saw it, i was too busy looking at a random tandemaus to notice it was shiny. i pressed every single button to try and catch it once i realized, except the one that would let me encounter it.
6:23 I actually got a full odds combee. Recently started looking for a shiny (nothing specific) found a combee extremely quickly which worried me. Turned out to be female though! Vespiquen actually looks really nice.

I've never had a Pokémon game until Christmas 2022 when I received my Nintendo Switch. I very quickly finished the game even though I knew virtually NOTHING about type advantages. Shortly after, I realized there was a Vaporeon outbreak, which I was super excited about. Vaporeon is my favourite Eeveelution and I just HAD to have its shiny, even if it meant running on 2fps. Fortunately, after around an hour and a bit of hunting, I saw the bright pink just on the edge of the spawning boundary. Within moments, Bubble joined my team :D
I wish I’d seen this so I could contribute 😅. I was shiny hunting a Paldean wooper (full odds, just boosted spawn rates with ground encounter power). I went to the Pokémon center to heal up, turned around, and a shiny wigglet popped up behind me. I decided to catch it and accidentally killed it. Then found out that I didn’t actually turn off auto saves. Moral of the story: I have a false swiper now.
I found a shiny lechonk after beating Arven and I was in disbelief because I wasn’t too sure if the shinies were in the over world like PLA but then it was pink and then I encountered it and that marked my first shiny in S/V during the tutorial part of the game which made me happy
Wow the exact thing happened to me. I Beat Arven at the windmill, turn around and the pink pig was just staring at me XD

My best moment was after I got my first shiny in an outbreak (Cetoddle) I was walking around near where the klawf titan was and a turned around to see a shiny klawf hanging on a rock behind me, that was one of my best reactions to a shiny ever. Shiny moments are really good or really bad so its funny to see the good and the bad experiences in one video. Nice Work
I love and I mean LOVE Slowpoke. Walking around and saw what I was almost sure was a shiny but it was hard to tell because the difference is so subtle. Went into the encounter without saving, threw a pokeball without doing any damage, and got a critical capture immediately. It was meant to be and I am the queen of the Slowpoke!!!

I’ve gotten 4 shinies so far in violet. Got a shiny shinx before my first gym, then I caught the new Pokémon tarsugiri, then I got a gogoat, and ending it on the paradox delibird while I went into area zero for the story

And of course amazing shiny stories! My only shiny I missed (as far as I know) is a Gothorita. I was just grinding levels in X/Y in the woods and maybe looking out for a white tree (shiny Trevenant) but as soon as I killed the Gothorita it dawned on me that it wasnt a female and male situation with the eyes. It was shiny. And now dead :D
Right after it finished watching this video, I picked up my Switch and continued my Pokemon Violet Soullink I'm doing with my brother. I was grinding in the Glacedo mountains, and guess what the first thing the pops up is? A SHINY GOLDUCK! Not only did that Golduck have a rare mark and was my first shiny in Violet, but also, fifteen minutes later, I found a shiny Glaceon too!

Found this one a while ago(like 2-3 weeks ago from writing this at the most):
I was in the Asado Desert because there was a Bug-type Tera Raid near Cascarrafa(like right across the river or something), and I saw it was Gulpin. I had only encountered Gulpin through battles, and while I've seen them in the overworld, I never fought one/caught one. I only saw one through a Trainer battle. I start the battle, make quick work of the Gulpin, and it gets registered in my dex. This is when I notice it's blue. I'm like "huh that's weird. is it just because of the lighting or something?", so I go into summary to check stuff, and that's when I see the sparkle symbol. I've gotten fuller odds than that(like one that I legitimately had not registered in my dex in any way), but it's still extremely lucky that I found Antennaleaf like that.
My first Gen 9 shiny was a Lechonk I found on the way to Mesagoza for the first time barely an hour in. This was on launch day too.
My second one was a Psyduck in a river- but I hadn’t beaten Titan Bombirdier yet and did not know you could throw Pokémon to fight swimming ones, so I tried to have Koraidon pounce on him. I got reset back for the bridge and Psyduck despawned.
My third and so far last was a Venomoth I got from an outbreak in Violet.
My best shiny luck so far took place while I was completing the Pokédex (missing some Scarlet Exclusives and the other starters so far) and I found my first shiny, a Shiny Gogoat. Same day, I found a Shiny Lokix. The next day, I found a Shiny Kricketune. Once I do get my Shiny Charm, I will hunt for a Shiny Iron Jugulis to use for my singles team.

The first shiny I snagged was a Finizen. I saw it in the distance while fighting a Wingull, which my first thought was "huh, it looks darker than usual in the water." I also encountered a Mudbray randomly.

So uh... i really dont wanna jynx this, but i havent had a shiny fail im aware of in SV or any game. The only thing that could possibly count as one is thinking a shiny eiscue was a girl version. But even then i still caught the shiny eiscue, though, I can flex my shinies... Dont scroll down if your gonna get jealous!
-Shiny Eiscue (This was my first ever shiny in a pokemon game, but its already explained in the top part of this comment, I thought it was a girl version, I luckily caught it lmao)
-Shiny Marill I Evolved (So this time i knew it was a shiny, but only when i ran into it. I saw a green ball in the water and thought, "wait, there arent really any green water spawns in sv right?" So i ran into it, i saw the animation and that it was a marill and knew it was a shiny. I was so excited and i got to catch it!)
-Shiny Vaporeon (Fav shiny next to Gyrados, I hunted for it like right after completing the pokedex, i was so excited to see it that i legit had to BREATHE IN AND OUT to calm my excitement. It came like right after i killed 60 vaporeon.)
-Shiny Espeon (Again, i hunted this one, i was doing it but it then became night so i had to wait for the time. This was before i knew abt the time skip glitch, this one was probably my longest, but it was only like 2 minutes of so after killing the 60 espeon, so still very lucky!)
-Shiny Sylveon (Not much to say abt this one besides it was female and i got it after only killing 5 sylveon, so i didnt even get to set up and it just spawned😂)
-Shiny Flareon (This one is particular because i wasnt shiny hunting, i was farming herba mystica, but the flareon outbreak spawned while i was date skipping 6 star tera raids, and even though i didnt have the right herba mystica to get Encounter Power Lvl 3, i didnt need it, as the outbreak was there. Luckily i had enough herba mystica to make the sparkling power though, i got to 60 flareon i think, and it spawned maybe one min after.)
-Shiny Murkrow (This one was super lucky, cuz i was walking to an umbreon outbreak to hunt it, and i saw a lil pink murkrow
my way there! I dont think im gonna evolve it btw)
-Shiny Umbreon (Kinda the same as the others, except i think its tied with espeon being my longest hunt at 2 mins after the 60 kills set up, im suprised i didnt miss it cuz it was far away in the cave, I only really saw it cuz it looked like a sleeping umbreon, with the blue coming out every second or so, but i ran up to it and saw it was a shiny!!! It was so cute and i love him
My most stressful shiny had to have been a pawniard(now a Kingambit) in the bamboo area. It was VERY difficult to avoid both the bisharp and the pawniard while checking if they were shiny or not.
My first shiny in this game was a Rookidee. In the canyon where the Stone Titan is located. I just started the Treasure Hunt for the school and was just exploring around looking for the Pokemon in the area I wanted on my team. I jumped down a small cliff, bounced off of it, and then saw the color. I immediately ran into it as soon as I could, and managed to catch it with a Premiere Ball

My Venus was my first shiny in the game and I love her. She was on my play through team, too. Carried me for a couple gyms with her fun dancing(Quiver dance. Very OP move.)
at 11:36 had the same thing happen going after a shiny iron valliant.. i kept bumping into everything over and over it drove me crazy lol
To this day, I've found 17 shiny pokémon. The one I'm most thrilled about is a full odds random shiny Glimmet, that ended up being Modest Nature too. Absolutely insane!

My first shiny in this game was a Dunsparce, about 2-ish hours into my playthrough! I had just jumped off a cliff with the legend, saw a weird looking Dunsparce, saw it was pink and I was like "um... Is- is that a shiny??" Because, at the time, I didn't know whether shinies made a sound/sparkled in the overworld or not. Caught it though! :3 matches with my first ever wild shiny, a shiny Kadabra in BDSP
I found a shiny Mareep, Hoppip, and Scillploom when looking for a shiny Pikachu, I named them turnip, bubble gum, and cotton candy
I'm glad I could never be bothered setting the switch up into docked mode for Violet, never experienced the crashes
I have never shiny hunted, but I do remember getting one in Emerald. It was a Tentacool that I used for my mono water playthrough. Good times.

My best was when I found a shiny Zweilous and 5 minutes later I found shiny great tusk. My worst is when I just started and saw a shiny shroodle but thought it was a normal one

Best shiny encounter: I can't decide between the full odds shiny Bisharp that spawned while I was fighting Bisharps with my regular Bisharp, or the full odds shiny aipom not even 10minutes after I took my first steps into Kitakami. Or just this whole pair of games with PM7's guaranteed shiny luck. My full odds shiny collection now stands at a whopping 9 mons, just from a regular playthrough. I've never encountered this many shinies in a single playthrough in my 20 years of playing this franchise.
rip to me, going in semi-blind knowing there were two tarurus forms, and seeing the gender varient oinkalone in the same area. seeing a slightly different color tarurus in a herd, assuming that is the gender varient. forgetting about it, seeing shiny tarurus online later...and promptly having a flashback to that moment. i am still not over it.
So I have 2 moments to share here, the 1st one I found a random full odd shiny eevee in a space time distortion in legends so I saved before encountering but I killed it so I reload my save only to find out the STD didn’t save. And the wind thing was I was looking for a bruxish for eggs and I saw a shiny wattrel but it was nighttime in game so I was genuinely looking at the one wattrel for like 5 mins before just checking it anyway and I caught it
my best shiny moment was easily my back to back shiny larvestas. wasn't even outbreak hunting, just bug encounter power 2. it was crazy battling one while the other was in the background.
Those failed shinies really hurt, even if you're just watching these clips

My first shiny was a cubchoo but it was in the shade and so I’m glad I decided to check if it was shiny. Now I have 3 my cubchoo, a dunsparce, and a frosmoth. Also all of my shinies were full odds and no sandwich boosts.

My favorite shiny moment was my shiny Rabsca. I was on my way to get the water gym done, saw Rellor, and looked up its evo. I LOVE scarabs/bug types and KNEW I had to have the gold bug before I could move onto the water gym. I only had a bug-spawn boosting sandwich so other than that it was full odds bc I was mid-playthrough. I was at it for HOURS. Right as I was about to give up, I found the gold ball and I got so excited I hurt my wrists stimming from it LMAO. I DID also find a shiny Tarountula on my way to the academy at the beginning of the game, and while finding a full odds shiny within an hour or two of starting is sick as all get-out, it doesn't have the same emotional punch to me REALLY wanting that Rabsca.
2022 December 28th I caught my first shiny paradox Pokémon, it was a shiny Iron Bundle (Yes I play Violet) accidentally and almost missed it lol. I keep getting accidental shinies, for example: I try to get a shiny from using the mass outbreak method I keep keep failing whatsoever, but when I don’t care or just processing the game I keep finding shinies randomly, like when I found a random shiny Glimmora in Area Zero. Soooo yeah fun fact. Even with autosave turned off, GameFreak knew their game was a crashy mess before sending it off, so they built in a secondary background autosave. As long as you know the inputs and don't "press A to start", all those crash-related shinies could have been saved

In Violet, I was standing somewhere contemplating how am I going to get my first shiny without the shiny charm and without many herba mystica when casually there was a shiny Mudsdale, running by and I scored my first and a full odds shiny. I think I'm also subscribed to your other channel and I am subscribing to this one so thank you for the shiny luck! 🤣
My best has to be my full odds shiny Umbreon in area zero. It's such a rare encounter, and to get it on only encounter two sandwich was absolutely amazing. Umbreon was my first ever shiny (well eevee) and I had previously lost the save file that he had been in. It felt like a blessing to find an umbreon as if my first shiny was forgiving me for losing it or letting me know I was still remembered.
My worst (it was indigo disc not main game though) although it still has a win, is when I got double shiny Hisuian qwilfish. I had no pokemon to weaken the first one I encountered, and it took forever to catch (I wish I just used my master ball). After maybe 2-5 minutes I had to watch it swim away. I didn't save and even if I did the second spawned in the middle of the battle. I promptly named the one I caught Betrayal.

In scarlet, my first 10 minutes of the game before I even got access to being able to ride koraidon I got a hoppip but I didn’t know how to save yet and I ran into a fletching and it despawned before I could get to it. However, I found another full odds one randomly running around and I caught it and named it redemption 😊

I had a fun time with jumpluff, I encountered one about an hour into my game, it was full odds without a shinycharm, and I forgot to save. Jumpluff knows memento. About 10 minutes later, I ran into another shiny jumpluff and I did not learn from my mistakes. That jumpluff was also suicidal. About 30 minutes after that, I was trading with someone to complete my dex and then when they are afk, a hoppip attacks them. What a day
