I've always loved SPAM- since I was five years old (59 now) and NEVER tire of these new ways to use it. Sadly, it used tobean affordable ingredient but SPAM seems to think of itself as a Luxury product now. But it is STILL the SPAM we love. I liked the way this was prepared- I made it using fresh steamed broccoli and asparagus tips instead of the smaller canned veggies, and after I put it in a large bowl, flipped it for a pretty presentation, but then I topped it with three very lightly cooked and runny eggs on top. As you break one to scoop your portion, that yolk mixes with everything else and it becomes a velvet heaven. Keep sharing, and thank you!!!
My cousin makes this dish. The only difference are 1. sweet soy sauce to counter with the saltiness from using regular SPAM 2. No corn 3. scallions 4. Garnished with chopped scallions

There were empty cans of Spam all over some of the beaches, just as there empty water bottles. Gosh wonder what it must be like now all these decades of pollution later. I love that this is an all-in-one nutritious meal that would not cost much and yet does not feel cheap.

The very first prepper item I bought preparing for the pandemic wasa case of Spam. I happen to really like Spam, I even own a wire slicer that slices the whole brick at once. Try cubed spam in a Ramen bo.mb.
Had this dish at a joint in Waikiki, with bean sprouts and scallions-I think they called it a "Royale." Great breakfast dish. Hawaiians are the acknowledged masters of Spam cuisine.

You don't know what you're missing. I'm Mexican and my mother never heard of it either. I learned from my Czech husband. He used to make sandwiches out of it with Cheese Whiz. I made it by frying it.

I buy those honey glazed spiral cut hams when they are on sale cut all the meat off the bone and freeze it in bags tastes pretty much the same as spam but you know what your eating an costs pretty much the same nowadays and it's already sliced , freeze the bone with all the meat you can't be bothered to get off an use it for whatever .
My mom use yellow mustard and brown sugar mixed together and covered the spam and bake at350 degrees for about an hour. It’s was so good.

I do the same thing but I then roll it up in tortillas, freeze them, and use them as breakfast burritos for the week.

if you put bean sprouts in it, that called stir fry. no longer fried rice.
