I like the guy who came on at around 5:46. He did a nice job explain ing rhe process itself. Nothing like a person explaining it from experience. You got to let the process do it's natural thing. You can't rush through the process.
I’ll think about this next time I smoke my pipe. Most of the blends I enjoy contain some Perique. I’ve also smoked it straight up. I think it’s best in a blend. Gratifying to see a 100% American effort here for a unique product that has world wide recognition.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Nice! I would like to try the organic Virginia. I wish there was more of that. I have had a few organic cigars, and there was a difference. I know where you can order some organic burley leaf for you own blending, along with a couple others. Looks like a lot of fun!
Excuse me, do you know any books on tobacco modulation? I am from mainland China and work in tobacco. I want to learn foreign tobacco processing knowledge and pipes making techniques. Do you know a more professional way of learning? Good days.
“You can’t tell tobacco what to do.” Great quote.

Thanks for posting this tour. As a lover of Perique, it was fantastic. I would hide in a corner and just live there. 8^)
It was a super cool tour. I really enjoyed it. Maybe you could work for perique. Plenty of room for a cot.
+Nathan Campbell Can I start tomorrow? 😊
What memories for me! I remember watching this video a long long time ago. Great video!🤝✌️👍
That's awesome...That is J.D from the Country Squire at 2:56.. they have a really informative podcast..
You lucky sod. This looks like a great time! Wish we had this type of thing in the UK. :)
Probably smells so good in there.

Thank you both so much for going and sharing. So cool!
You need to come to the next one.
Perique forever
Thanks for doing that. I could skip to the good parts and not have to take up a whole day going myself.

Guy in the green shirt looks like JD from Country Squire Radio Pipecast.
it may be
It is!
Yup. I saw him and was like, that's the Country Squire guy!
how can you attend this tour? Is there a web site to go through the tour?
How often and what time of year do they have this tour?
Man I wish I could smell that place
It was intoxicating
Reminds me of Maduro for cigars.
i heard that Americans don't know how to dress, but i didn't realize how much. naturally i don't want this to sounds insulting.
Some do, some don’t.
I’ve heard Europeans don’t know how to bathe. But I’ve visited enough to know it’s only mostly true, not completely.
The pipesmoker’s heaven
A+

How did anyone ever figure this out?
From field to barrel how long does it take to be able to smoke perique?
How much is a barel
I believe Mark said it was $10 per pound and each barrel holds 500lb, so $5000. Prices may have changed since
I wish this video would have been more about perique and a whole lot less about how much money Mr. Ryan has and spent.
I spy Jon David @_countrysquire
