Gingerbread Mickey's are also available in the lobby of the Grand Californian. The line to get them is quite short, however, they're a couple dollars more than in the parks.
SO bummed we'll miss you by one day! We'll be there December 20th. You're tips and tricks are REALLY putting my mind at ease! Thank you for sharing your experiences!! ☺
Thank you for this video! Ten days til we arrive and I feel more assured about seeing the lightings and getting the Jolly Holiday treats by ordering early!
Consistently dropping dimes! The go to source for park tips! Had no idea about the different treat days vs. park. Appreciate all the lighting ceremony times and calling out different parade directions for 3:30 vs. 6:30.. Also.. maybe SoCal Disney Dad -> SoCal Disney Fam? Beautiful family. Thanks again for the help!
I am so glad someone did an update for 2023 I really enjoyed all of your I would really want to see how do you place mobile orders. Also if you do any rope drop for other attractiones when do you recommend going for food? Thanks a lot for everything you guys describe everything so good!
We are here too same time ; rope dropped Star Wars land and even getting to rope drop a little late with the line wrapped around far beyond the actual Que ; glad we stuck with it - it moved at a real steady pace
@@funkybenzoyl1301 Before Thanksgiving? You’ll probably mostly be fine. It’s the weekend AFTER Thanksgiving that will be busier. We plan to be there the Tuesday before ourselves. It’ll be busier than the week before, sure, but I don’t think it’ll be like it was last week here. That was insane. We are here today and it’s heaps better already.
I love Christmas at Disneyland. It makes me so happy. Yes bring back Jingle Cruise. Please!! Might try for next Dec for 3 days with my cousin. But I will be back sooner. A year is way to long for me. 🎄☃️
Just wondering if you have any tips for Christmas at the parks after New Years! I know the last day of Christmas is January 7th, so should we expect Small World and Haunted Mansion to close on the 8th? Do you expect New Years Day and the last day of the season to be extra busy? Any other things we should be aware of when choosing a date to visit around that time? I would like to catch Christmas at DL if I can but we might have to go a few days after it ends. Just trying to gauge what that first week or so of the new year would be like. Love your tips! Great video 😊
Hard to say as I’ve never personally been in the park any earlier than January 7th before, but I would bet New Years Eve and New Years will be pretty busy. I’d expect the 4th-7th to be pretty solid options. The rides do end on the 8th. The 7th is the last day. They will be closed on the 8th guaranteed.
I know this video is 10 months old, but hoping for an answer lol… what about visiting after New Years for the last week of holiday decor? We are visiting Jan 3-10 and wondering what the crowds are like then? Thanks ☺️
Was that shot on Monday when the wind blew over the light post that seriously injured 3 people? Ahh, I just got to the segment where you put the news up.
We plan to visit Disneyland for the first time in over ten years. ( there have been a lot of changes) I have a question about the DAS pass and how to use it. My daughter was approved for DAS due to medical issues. Some have said to use DAS, we need to talk with cast members at each ride, and others said there is an app for that. Who is correct? Thank you! Love your informational videos!
Unfortunately, that’s something that I don’t have a lot of experience with and can’t tell you for certain. Some quick research online makes it sound like there should be an option in the app for you, but I just checked myself and do not see anything listed. But it may only appear for guests with DAS, so you’d probably have to look for it yourself. You should be able to ask any attraction cast member or guest services cast member for help and they should be aware of the procedure. So the first time might be a little bumpy, but everything should go smoothly after that.
Where is the schedule for the candy canes posted? What site? Different calendar dates on all these blogs and I can’t find Disney’s actual posted schedule.
You know, I could have sworn I saw it on Disney's own site, that's where I got my clip from in the video. But when I checked again, that was a 2 year old post. That means the dates I showed were wrong. Ugh! I made an edit to my video which should finalize in an hour or two removing that clip, but to answer your question, I can't find one either. Which is really odd. Disney usually puts it in their foodie guide, but I didn't see it this year. Hopefully what other websites are reporting is accurate, because we're showing up for it on the 19th!
@@SoCalDisneyDad I would be there this week for the lower crowd levels, but my wife insisted on getting one of those candy canes. I just hope I got the dates right 😬. I appreciate all your tips and tricks from park experiences. We look forward to our trip and sound like we might see you there!

Correct. Visiting at Christmas is like visiting any other time of year. There’s just more going on. Ticket prices might be a little higher (I don’t keep close tabs on those) because it’s not considered off season per se, but there are still cheaper days and more expensive days during the season. The tickets, though, aren’t more expensive than any other day throughout the year that shares the same tier pricing. Christmas time starts at the beginning of November at Disneyland and lasts through the first week of January.
Oh crap, I'm glad I watched this. I'll be going during the 2024 holiday season and didn't know
Thank you, was watching this Video for the Parade route.
Going at the PM show and wanted to make sure main street was were it started.
We ran into your wife and son in the Grand Californian and they were so fun to meet! Thank you for all the helpful videos!

Yes, we mention that in this video! It’s $10 as opposed to $8
Will be there tomorrow, so excited!!

Yay for candy cane content!
Do you recommend buying the tickets now or later like sometime in December. We are planning to go around December20s but for now not 100% sure.

That would be a great idea. Yes! Waiting is hard sometimes. We still feel that with our WDW trips.
My husband and were able to get the Mickey gingerbread man at the Market House on Main Street.
Yes, they have them at Starbucks. I did add that in via text at the bottom of the screen once I figured that out.

My next Disney World trip isn’t until May. We will be doing a series of videos then, but not until then.

I got tickets for the world of color dessert party on Christmas Eve. How is the holiday version of that show? Have you been able to watch it yet?
I have not see it yet. No. And I’m not sure if I will, as we generally can’t last that long. My youngest gets worn out by 6.
