How about a video on calibrating the humidity and temperature sensor.
Been using the AC infinity smart exhaust for my flower tent. Opted for the Mars hydro smart tent kit for my veg tent. The UI on the Mars ones look exactly the same as the infinity UI.

It looks like a rebranded Ac infinity fan. But the plugs on the controller are different. It also sounds quite a bit louder than my Ac infinity t4 at the same fan speeds.
I was thinking the same thing. Fans look exactly the same and even the controller looks exactly the same.
Yeah the new ac infinity fans controller can do scheduling and has a Bluetooth app. If Mars is gonna do a knock off why make a worse controller

The price of the Mars kit including ducting and carbon filter is a bunch cheaper then the price of the ac Infinity fan kit for us unlucky Australians. ac Infinity $308.00 +$165.72 International delivery. Mars kit is $270 delivered :) . Best i can find via 3rd party sellers here is around the $400 mark. Ps, Do not recommend running any type of light/fan controller app on any device connected to your home network. If gamers my teenage son trolled could get into our network and start playing with the app controlling his bedroom lighting as well as delete all contacts from all phones that where on the network that night hate to see what could go wrong in a grow room

@@Maykay1312 I wouldn't use the app after someone broke into our home network once then started playing with my son's bedrooms lights which where run via his phone. Every device connected to the home network was messed with. I would use a old phone and keep it off the main network at all times besides when adding apps etc

I just got an AC Infinity fan in the mail today. The controller looks very similar but has a few extra functions like being able to program the controller with an app on your phone using blue tooth. So far I think its pretty cool and has more functions than I plan on using at this time. I set it up to trigger for either high humidity or high temperature. You can also set a minimum speed for the fan to run at constantly to help control smell and the max speed you want to use when the temp or RH are out of range. You can also set a delay time to stop the unit from fast cycling on and off all the time.
Which model is it? I keep seeing reviews saying that you can't set a minimum fan speed so the fan just shuts totally off sometimes.
@@jaymartinson3236 I have a T4. You adjust the minimum fan speed in the "off" mode (It's easier to do if you download the app for your phone) then set the max speed in the "on" mode. After that put the controller in to "auto" mode and set your parameters for temp and humidity.

Does it connect to the humidifier as well? Or does it change the humidity by blowing more air out?
It just adjusts by turning off and on and up and down in fan speeds to try to make the humidity, personally ive just always keep my fans on , on mode and set the speed manually and have inkbirds set up to turn dehumidifiers and humidifier s , heaters and ac s on and off to my selected settings

Hey they sent me a bad thermometer all it does is beep and if you put the plug the sensor all the way in, it still just beeps. Am I doing something wrong.

Where do you get this temperature humidity controller from..mine just comes with a manual dial..mars hydro done even sell them by the looks of it
I also have the dial one , there are 2 different versions one is a bit cheaper and unfortunately they arw not compatible ive tryed to plug the screen into the dial fan and it wouldn't work , hopefully this helps out a bit cheers have an awesome day 👊 my friend

Mars can’t eliminate the stink as well as older style inline fan of same size. I just tried the 4” mars in-line, and didn’t come close to eliminating the smell around and in tent as old style 4”. Weak! Oh , and the old style is quieter. With?

this is the only issue with me buying one of these mars hydro tents they should have somewhere on the front of the tent to mount the controller like the infinity tents do.

How bout now?? I got a 2nd one like a month ago and the bearing went today, it was great til I noticed a loud noise after work. Turn it off and try to use on low speed. Motor seized. Literally have to put my hand in it and spin it to get it to work. But I have a warranty so we will see what happens.

Rebranded Product that AC Infinity has been selling for years. It would be a problem if the controller stopped reading temps and never turned on the fan. The value of the automation only exists if the product works consistently. It is of no value to me if I don't know if the product is reliable.
Mars Hydro makes some decent products but their customer Service is one of the worst i have ever seen

Mars hydro is a China company and stole this design from ac infinity. Too bad they copied the older controller released like 3 years ago. The new ac infinity controllers have minimum speed and app control already.

hi, is the 4 inch fan sufficient for a 2x2? (two very "scented" plants inside!). Does the fan model with the smart function for use with the Mars Hydro app work well as a thermostat? Has anyone had the chance to try it?
