  • I have a brand new series of videos that I think you are going to love. It revolves around editing our landscape images, BUT it is a bit different as I will be showing you WHY we edit not HOW we edit.
In each episode, I will run through an edit from start to finish, and I will explain what I am doing, why I am doing it and what effect it will have on the final image.
The good thing is, it is not tied to any particular software, so you can use these principles with whatever platform you use.
I think this is some of the best content I have put out so far, and if you edit your own images I urge you to watch no matter what level you are at.
I really hope it gives you some insight as to what you could be doing to improve your images.
    Cheers Dean

Excellent video, patiently described and explained unlike some other videos where speed seems to be of the essence.

Hi Dean... I have thoroughly enjoyed your last two videos, the curves adjustment layers and the WHY, not HOW video as well..I have taken a few images that I know that are good, but I just can't seem to make the editing work, these tutorials I reckon will be my saviour!! I will email you a before and after...let me know what you think!! Thanks so much for doing these tutes...not much else for me to do in lockdown 😒😒. Cheers

@@deancooperphotography2896 Dean, Interested to know when you add or don't add Sharpening to an image and your reasoning behind your personal preference.

Although I don't currently have LR PS (I have Capture One) I found this video really good for your process. Your workflow is very logical to follow and the big takeaway for me to is look at my images for where the light has touched different elements and then create depth by enhancing that. Thanks Dean.
