Thank you, Peter! I almost installed that piece wrong, as shown in the technical drawings i had, which were showing to pl;ace it in the space to the right, which doesnt fit. I held it in the correct space by using a piece of stiff wire clamped to the side of the case, like an extra finger. i removed the wire when the valve body was bolted up far enough to hold the checkball in place and then bolted everything up the rest of the way. Much appreciated!
When you put it back together how did you get it to stay what do you put the valve body back in. I have mine on jack stands I'm doing it with the tranny still attached so trying to figure out how to get it to stay I was thinking about using some like adhesive goo but I don't want it to be in my transmission fluid

I found the solution after I slove my problem , exactly about check ball and o ring seal..to put back the chck ball use thick grease and for accumulator use thin tape or plastic tape tape make the accumulator fit on the hole after put back valve body the you can pull the tape...everything done correctly..thank you Peter Finn about the clue. You save my transmission from no reverse problem.

When I reinsured it to drive it it has a slight knock going from first to second, It shifts fine for the rest of the gears. Any Idea what caused this?

My Toyota Camry 2008 model v6 22pin gear, d gear select very well, but when the gear want to change maybe frm 1 to 2 it will nack and I have changed d engine seats still not working perfectly, so what could be d problem sir

I got an 05 Rav4 that runs good but won't shift to fourth gear. I got a code p0766 and changed the s4 solenoid. I also paid to repair my ecu but still not luck on fourth gear. The fluid is dark and there were some metal shavings in the pan. Do you think it's time for a tranny replacement? Same U241e transmission.

Hi Peter, at the moment i dismounted the valve body, a small flat rubber seal, not an oring, dropped from inside the transmion. Could you tell me the position for it? I re-installed the valve body after cleaning it. One more thing, there is a very thin gasket in the lower valve body. Will be any problem if i remove as it is damaged?

Ik im 2 years late but I rebuild transmissions and you have to use trans lube it works wonders

Sound comes, when Oil pressure goes to all parts, your car should be Ok.
