Thanks for this video! Everything about Mr. Maple is outstanding! Product, packaging, customer service, they do it right. I personally discovered their business late last year and have purchased way more trees than I care to admit. But, hey, I'm having fun and so should all of you!
When I was 10 a friend in school invited me to his home, his family had the entire back yard was a Japanese garden. That was when I fell in love with Japanese maple s. I have 14 Maple's, 5 azaleas and 2 cherry blossoms. I am building 1/4 acre Japanese garden. All my trees came from Mr. Maple. So thank you for the cool tour.
I live in Tokyo and if I'm not mistaken the brothers were featured on a local television show many years ago. It showcased their passion for Japanese maple trees. I'm glad to find out their passion and business are equally growing.
I just loved this tour! This was a very nice treat. I’m with Tim Nichols. The yellow Japanese Maples are just jaw dropping. I have a blood good but when I see my Summer Gold Acer Palmatum… I just smile. It’s that bright & beautiful.
Woah Summer, thank you. Your visit to the Mr. Maple family is to be positively overwhelmed, by form and color. Even without your added music, the visual concert of Japanese Maple Music stays in your mind. Sure wouldn't mind pitching a tent there, for a good look. Are you off to Oregon now? Hi Sander! Happy Easter to all. P. S. Another unrelated subject, I saw a planned pattern/design castle garden. Do you have a place for something like that? Maybe there is an indigenous flower solution??? Hey to the Mr. Maple Brothers and Family. ❤ Much continued success and good luck with your fruitful experiments.
I think Japanese Maples are my favorite trees. I have, in my small front garden, a Skeeter's Broom....which I bought at least 10 years ago. I didn't buy it from Mr. Maple, but another JM seller on the west coast. It was supposed to be around 6'...but it's doubled in size..lol. It's a gorgeous tree, and in the spring...the most brilliant bright red. Lucklily the habit is columnar, so it's fine in the spot it's in. It doesn't get too wide, either. So many gorgeous specimens that Mr. Maple offers. I will check out their website. I hope you picked up one or two of their trees. 😊 Thank you, Summer, and the brothers at their nursery, for sharing good information and their gorgeous stock of trees. 😀
00:03: Dear Matt and Tim, thank you both for a lovely and informative tour. Your enthusiasm and love of nature are infectious…in a great way. Great to meet you both.
Thanks for the tour video, Summer and Sander, and for showing us around your business, Matt and Tim. I love Japanese acers so it was amazing to see all the different species and cultivars!
This was such an awesome episode. I have been a MrMaple customer for about 6 years and have bought many many maples and conifers and other plants from them. These guys rock and they are truly awesome and amazing people. I highly recommend them to everyone i know. These guys are the #bestinthebusiness 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥
Hello SRO, Flock, and Mr Maple. Mr Maple is a great company. I have ordered Japanese maples and a native azalea plant from them. They take pride and care in packaging and making sure that you receive them safe and sound. Peace.
I'm in a zone 6b (formerly5) by lake erie in lake effect zone... we get crazy weather and clay soil ... if you ever want to trial maples I've had a rough time growing them here! Mr. Maple needs to put some Maple trees in for Garden Answer by her Aquascape Pond Greg Winstock put in ... yall should sell these at aqualand in Chicago. Summer needs an aquascape pond on the flock finger
Love the video and I find Japanese maples truly amazing. Since i can’t grow them in south Florida, I started gardening my sister’s yard in L.A. CA so I could plant Japanese maples there :)
I blame Mr Maple for making me spend so much on maples 😂 Their RUclips channel introduced me to the many cultivars and watching them makes you want to buy them all! Lol
Fantastic interview. I wonder if the cultivation of heat-tolerant maples and growing them in hotter climates will allow the trees enough of a cold dormancy period in the winters.
Very cool episode...glad to see you in my area..I wish you could visit Juniper level botanical gardens..I believe you would enjoy Tony.. Oh I laughed my butt off about the finger comment..lol Thanks for another great episode
I wonder if Matt or Tim have ever heard of or have experience with the 'Lazy Leaf' cultivar... After seeing the Flock video it was featured in last year, I would love to see that cultivar brought into production more, as I cannot find much info online about it.
We brought it up to him because our Lazy Leaf got clobbered in the late May frost we had. We have to see if it revives this spring; but that one and the Bloodgood that had been planted on the land suffered the biggest dieback due to the polar vortex. So in sum-we put them on the task for finding some Lazy Leaf!
Since your business now is so extended, please consider to ship internationally in the future I am located in Italy and I already ha e a bunch of japanese maples to buy from your store that are impossibile to find in Europe
What a crap company. Their customer service is non-existant. All of their trees were weak, sickly, late to arrive, and they all died not long after arrival. I wish I'd never heard of them. I do not recommend this seller.
Wow thanks so much for the tour! We greatly enjoyed meeting you! Come back anytime!
Love, Mr. Maple! Bought from you guys years ago and saw a video on growing a greener world back in the day. So happy for your business!

I have that same addiction so don’t feel bad. Plus there’s way worse things to be addicted to.
Mr Maple is the best. I have purchased over 50 Japanese Maples from them plus many conifers and other trees as well.

Coolest video yet!! Love Japanese maples! And I was surprised that summer knows vine maples from PNW! My old stomping grounds…😊
Finger F'n was my favorite part hahaha
😅
I had to rewind to make sure I heard her right!! 😂
These guys are great! Putting out a ton of info for everyday growers and bringing back a lot of hard to get stuff.
Thank you Summer for the tour video. Revamping my garden this year and want to add Japanese Maples. Timely and very useful info!

I just bought a couple of trees from them! They shipped wonderfully and I'm so excited to put them outside once the weather here warms up a little
Don't wait too long. The sooner the better.

This is awesome. I bought some Japanese maples and azaleas last year from them. Happy to see them on this channel🌿
We found a sole Winter Red this year randomly at a nursery and we bought it instantly. Looked more attractive to us than Sango Kaku.
Love these guys!
Love the tour thanks 🙏
love this! great energy

Mrmapleshow sent me here, great interview. Very informative.
She cracked me up early this morning with her take on the human propagation by fingers. LMAO thank you Summer 😂
Love the video and I find Japanese maples truly amazing. Since i can’t grow them in south Florida, I started gardening my sister’s yard in L.A. CA so I could plant Japanese maples there :)
Ok. No one is going to talk about finger f***? 😂😂😂😂 I love her.
I blame Mr Maple for making me spend so much on maples 😂

I’ll be a zone 4 test subject. Lol. I plant mahogany splendor hibiscus bc J. Maples don’t grow here. Ty for the wonderful tour ❤
Thanks for this!
Ok, it’s over for me. I must get a yellow/orange maple for the container on my deck. To go with my dwarf crimson queen 💕
Thanx guys! Some gnostic info we need about tree’s. The health benefits and our devouring living! From the netherlands namasté! Dank

Minute 29:07. Um, the NC mountain people are more religious than you might think.

I feel so bad for Mr Maple. This woman is disgusting.
