This is why programs will NEVER allow spectators to get too close. A literal depiction of what not to do at an event like this. The dancers didn’t have any space, phones and spit was flying everywhere, and the fans made it an all-around horrible event for everyone. Totally distasteful. Great job to BOTH teams!!
No disrespect but the sassy guy at the end is the reason why ppl don't want them in the dance groups....just messy. Talking about a wig? when both teams are wearing them is crazy. Let these ladies be great without ya commentary. Telling a woman to turn her wig around but you want to be her???? Make it make sense

@@wildlyfee I’m a fan of dance.. one of MAAB girls is from New Orleans. They came over and looked foolish. We just watched the proof. Besides THIS encounter, MAAB squad actually put on a performance, but this part was bad taste. This happens every year, bullhorn and fans, but I NEVER WITNESSED A DANCER SPEAK THAT WAY IN UNIFORM.

@@douboo32 they’re all grown on MAAB. While other squads consist of a mixture of grown ups and high schooler. IDC how hectic the environment got, LaFleur, jewels, and regulators kept it professional (besides jewels almost starting riot with the towel throwing 😂)
I feel like the other team was definitely rude and obnoxious, just cursing. I know it's a competition and sometimes can get really heated but I saw NOTHING but TALENT and Cohesiveness on the New Orleans Team. The other team was had what could have been beautiful moves but they were trying to hard to make a point rather than let their dance Flow. New Orleans flowed, other team fought, themselves.
This is NOT cool, it is f'ing embarrassing. This is happening every year and getting more intense. This is going to turn into a tragic situation, that will eventually lead to the banning of these events, which will also trickle into Parade season and football season. They really may need to consider either removing dancers who leave outside of their zones, or all together banning all dance teams from these summer events. People wonder why there are no sponsors. No major company would want their brands affiliated with this. It would be terrible for business. especially seeing that it's only a matter of time until a big fight or worse happens. This is just ghetto and a very bad look.

Maybe when it’s time for the band to be in the stands, they can put the girls in the middle of the field with barriers around them? Idk lol anything would work better than what they got going on now

What I do know is those young women on both sides are ATHLETES, so a slip of wig is reasonable and beyond their control at times. Either way they deserve respect for doing a hard job. It’s not funny at all for an overgrown male to take unfunny sissy shots at their LOOKS, which have nothing to do with you, while they’re busy working… and you just standing there doing nothing but looking like Eddie Murphy in one of his worst fat suits. I bet you can’t even spell “treadmill” without assistance. Black women have to deal with enough. Be supportive or go try harder to graduate ya lil comedy class.
