    This is a great video, so thanks for posting it. Love my 2006 Cayman S in Artic silver, and would not sell it for the World. Its a six speed with 19 inch Carrera S ``Lobster claw`` design wheels, Lowered suspension via Eibach springs and a Capristi valve controlled exhaust. It drives beautifully in every aspect, sounds terrific and looks a dream. Never had a moments trouble with it either !!

    This is the last Porsche that Dr. Porsche would recognize. The 987. Hope you got one because if you don’t it’s probably too late prices are going way up.

    There is no substitute :-) I am going to buy the Cayman S... Upcoming economic turmoil could at least provide some positives with deflation of luxury cars and goods, if you can afford it, you could get 2006-2008 model for a really attractive price. We will see.

    fancy high speed looking video
    spoiler not even up: it's low speed

    • @MikeSouzaProjects

      They tell us at 2:57 that the spoiler raises at 120 km/h, which is 72 mph. I didn't see any point during the video where I though the cars were going faster than that.

      And of course, driving around the streets and back roads around LA, going over 72.5 mph would be breaking local laws, and Porsche cannot be seen doing that in a promotional video !! The spoiler can be deployed at any time as I am sure you are aware. I like mine up all the time as I think the car looks a little better that way. Just terrific cars. Cheers.

      @@daithilacha1 mechonomist said that is a Porsche no-no...although I am guilty as well. I like to raise it when I have a riced out honda revving his shitty turbo 4 banger slush box motor behind me.. Ill deploy my spoiler just to flex a little 💪

      I am intrigued Obi-Wan. What does Mechonomist say about this, and is he a Porsche expert ?? I have been doing it forever without a problem, and its designed to go up on the push of a button, so I fail to see the issue. Talking about your funny Honda experiences, I had exactly the same one last week. I heard a screeching noise behind my car and thought my Axle had fallen off only to see a Honda Civic with the usual head behind the wheel sitting on my bumper revving his lawnmower motor with an exhaust out back befitting a Jumbo jet. LOL

    All this talk about the car and somehow they didn’t mention the most popular object of discussion. But hey, why talk about the IMS? It’ll be discovered by the owner eventually.

      Do you own a Cayman..? Have you had an IMS failure...?

    • @paull3179
      @paull3179 4 года назад +4

      I have never heard of anyone with that problem and never had an issue with a 2007 997 and 2008 997 4s. It is a rare problem.

      Another internet unicorn rumour. Very rare failure rate on these cars.
