how does it deal with heat dissipation, the prefacelift engine plenums had both the lid and the bottom as aluminum while the facelift had plastic. this would be worth purchasing if coupled with an aluminum bottom plenum
Why did you stop the carbon fiber plenum pull at 5200 rpm (4th gear pull) but you revved the plastic plenum to 6k? You are missing out on some amazing noise with that 4th gear pull by not revving that carbon plenum higher
That sounds amazing!
Great sound
Now he got that dog in him
lol

Why is it not completly carbon? Also the under side?

How does this plenum handle boost? Want to get one for my M5 but don’t want Plenum failure under WOT.
It has not been designed to handle boost. Thanks.
I have such an intake in an e39 M5 (no plennum) and it sounds like the engine has a minimum capacity of 6L
BTW the original plenum is not plastic
We have noticed some plenums are metal and some plastic.
In our case plenum was the plastic version from factory.
Thanks!
First gen e39 came with metal plenum, switched to plastic around march 2000.. mine still has the metal on, this sounds awesome :D@@Eventuri
