PLEASE READ!!!! janiya whitfield I have 4b/4c so idk if this will help. But make sure you learn your porosity while growing your hair. It helps a lot. Deep conditioner often and make sure your scalp stays clean. Make sure your hair is always moisturized and trim your dead ends ASAP. Do hot oil treatments and try to use products that don’t have horrible ingredients in them, such as silicons.
janiya whitfield rice water is one major thing that helped my hair grow LOTS. the shrinkage is reall😭 but i went from below shoulder length when my curly hair is dry to mid down my back while it curly and dry i love rice water. but also since washing my hair TOO much causes my oils in my scalp to dry up instead of washing my hair every single day i started washing it with shampoo 2 times a week because my hair is thick but i understand i have build up from products so on the other days i wash it with just conditioner. keeps my hair soft and smelling fresh.

I’m a shower at night person . And I only wash my hair every 3 days (Wednesday’s and Sunday’s sometimes Friday if my hair is oily and it makes me feel uncomfortable) . My hair is curly and thick . Every time I shampoo and condition my hair . I massage my scalp and leave it on for 2 minutes for both processes . I just brush my teeth or watch a video on my phone while I wait. My hair still smells like my conditioner (Pantene curl/Cantu ) or shampoo (head& shoulders)

Shower daily go somewhere like bath and body works or victoras secret for perfume, body lotion, and body wash use body wask and bar soap in the shower every day and then put on a good detorant and body lotion and then you can finish with perfume
Buy baby wipes & throughout the day like when you feel sweaty or like your deodorant is wearing off wipe your armpits/anywhere else you sweat let it dry let apply your deodorant as usual & use a matching lotion + fragrance & reapply like a couple times throughout the day depending on how long it lasts for you.

I have oily scalp and dry frizzy ends. I alternate between Garnier Smooth & Sleek and Pantene Pro-V sulfate free hydration with argan oil to balance.
I also wash every other day.
