    By far the most informative video on this topic. Good humor too (especially the tae kwon do demo). Thank you!

    Hey, if I stay in Seoul only for two weeks, is data egg best option for me? Did you try it? Which one is better/cheaper?

    awesome i will buy sim in incheon airport steve !! does it make any difference in price buying in airport or tourist centre information or convenience store??

    • @stevenyoon
      @stevenyoon  Год назад +1

      For the best price = Online Pre-order Pickup at the airport
      For convenience = Airport (they are equipped for visitors all around the world)
      If you want to save some money and find cheaper SIM Cards in the city, I would recommend going to local providers/shops! (KT, LG U+, or SKTelecomm)
      Otherwise, you can get okay priced simcards at tourist centers but I wouldn’t recommend convenience stores because they don’t know much about global simcards and often times they recommend false ones…

    I also wonder why they want my data, the same reason why RUclips wants views, likes, hit the subscribe button and comments 👀

      Hi Steven! We are planning to be in South Korea for 3 weeks in May and are going to be pre-purchasing a sim card through KT to pick up at the airport. We were planning on purchasing the ability to make phone calls on the sim. Do you think it's necessary to be able to make phone calls (or have a phone number) in Korea while traveling for restaurant reservations or other things? Thanks!

      If it's not too much of a hassle + money difference, go for the ones with Korean phone number. It's not necessary though if you prefer to make reservations offline and here for less than a week. I certainly would just get data if I stay here in Korea for a few days :)
