Not a big increase in each generation (3950x-5950x-7950x), considering how long the ROI is, maybe is better to buy old used hardware for this. I think the 5800X3D is the best option of all, both in efficiency and price.

To get the best hash rate you have to manually set the timings using Typhoon and Dram calculator it has 3 different settings low medium and high i got 11,300 on my 3700x on high and stable but used way to much power so i ended up on medium for 10,200 hashes each

man those are some good numbers for sure. say 150w per rig to be sure, with 2x 350w solar panels, you can safely run 4 cpus for absolutely free electric during the day and if you save the excess on battery and use it later, that's even better.

I have built my new computer last spring, so my parts are quite new, so I can get good money from them for these new parts :) But it wouldn't be a bad choice to build new AMD ryzen 5900x or AMD ryzen 5950x raptoreum miners either. I believe that the prices of these new processors will drop by next summer, so I will probably wait a bit to buy them and build more AM4 AMD Ryzen 5900x and AMD Ryzen 5950x raptoreum miners. Is it bad to just just mine out of the wallet with P2Pool? Why does nobody do this? Been doing that on a 5900x on 20 cores and only got ~30¢ worth of coins for $8 or so dollars worth (I think) of electricity. In Hawaii electricity is 3x average rate, I understand it's prob never gonna be profitable. I'd just like to help support the network, and mine a bit sometimes just because.

Hey rabid, it seems that calculation for mining my have different value considering the site. Give you an example I picked the the randomly; on whattomine the cortex coin shows 24 he rewards as 1.7566 and on miningpoolstats it shows 82.32. I used a 1080 ti on whattomine and got the hashrate it would produce to plug in miningpoolstats.

But you're right that buying one JUST to mine with doesn't make much if any financial sense.
Nobody in the USA has access to 2 cent power QUITE - but you can get to about 3 if you CHEAT in Chelan County, WA (Wenatchee is the large city) (base residential or small business rate a hair over, Senior or Disabled discount would get a residential user under 3 a bit) - problem is that Chelan charges cryptocoin miners their own, MUCH HIGHER, rate and they're very strong on enforcement. You can probably get away with it if you stayed small, or did it with a machine you use for other stuff - but it's a VERY questionable practice legally.
Next lowest would be about 5, LEGALLY, in Douglass County WA (next door, includes East Wenatchee), or about 5 "questionably" in Grant County WA (Moses Lake, Quincy, Ephrata) (also next door) on residential or small business rates.
If you're an INDUSTRIAL scale user, you used to be able to get well under 3 in all 3 - but due to laws and PUD regulations, that's now illegal in Chelan or Grant counties.

Far too much money for such a tiny ass return. As a gaming system sure but mining? Nah. Cheaper motherboards = less features as well. Cheapest motherboards only gonna have PCIe 5.0 for GPU and not for M.2 slots. But seeing as how you use neither for cpu mining then it might be good. Personally I'll wait till they work out the bugs before buying into this. Bottom tier MB's for $369 is a joke.
