It's not much better than the 5950x - and ALL of them are way inefficient compared to most recent Threadripper models. It's all about the cores, seems like (and a small amount the clock, but clock speeds have stagnated in the last decade).
@@RabidMining Cost more like 10x more for most. But you're right that buying one JUST to mine with doesn't make much if any financial sense. Nobody in the USA has access to 2 cent power QUITE - but you can get to about 3 if you CHEAT in Chelan County, WA (Wenatchee is the large city) (base residential or small business rate a hair over, Senior or Disabled discount would get a residential user under 3 a bit) - problem is that Chelan charges cryptocoin miners their own, MUCH HIGHER, rate and they're very strong on enforcement. You can probably get away with it if you stayed small, or did it with a machine you use for other stuff - but it's a VERY questionable practice legally. Next lowest would be about 5, LEGALLY, in Douglass County WA (next door, includes East Wenatchee), or about 5 "questionably" in Grant County WA (Moses Lake, Quincy, Ephrata) (also next door) on residential or small business rates. If you're an INDUSTRIAL scale user, you used to be able to get well under 3 in all 3 - but due to laws and PUD regulations, that's now illegal in Chelan or Grant counties.
Far too much money for such a tiny ass return. As a gaming system sure but mining? Nah. Cheaper motherboards = less features as well. Cheapest motherboards only gonna have PCIe 5.0 for GPU and not for M.2 slots. But seeing as how you use neither for cpu mining then it might be good. Personally I'll wait till they work out the bugs before buying into this. Bottom tier MB's for $369 is a joke.
Depends on power price I start with XMR as once you get that algo stable your good on everything else profit wise XMR is one of the least profitable coins to mine currently on a CPU

interesting i'm pulling 20k on air cooling w/ expo on with the 7950x guess i'm lucky
19-22kh is average depending how its run.
It's not much better than the 5950x - and ALL of them are way inefficient compared to most recent Threadripper models.
It's all about the cores, seems like (and a small amount the clock, but clock speeds have stagnated in the last decade).
Most recent threadrippers are gonna cost x100 more won't recover that power cost back ever at the price range unless you pay 2 bucks per kwh
OK now do ghostrider algorithm. Great video
Thx
Omg now zephyr 30$
It was $52 for a while
If I remember correctly, DDR5 is already dual channel with one stick of ram
ROI 80 months 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Faster then a gpu in the negative
Waiting For GhostRider AlGo Magic...............
Working on it
Far too much money for such a tiny ass return.
For sure next month is b650s so hopefully low end 100 bucks or so
profit's are dead you try so hard :D
Depends on power price I start with XMR as once you get that algo stable your good on everything else profit wise XMR is one of the least profitable coins to mine currently on a CPU
I dont knkw how you did that i put the multipkeyer up to 50 and volts 1.150 and still cant get past 17k kilohash
What RAM and miner?
has your solo miningevrr won a block?
I did hit a block on XMR
