That's the same kind of milder sulfate that used to be in "Palmolive Naturals" here in Belgium. Yes Palmolive isn't just dish soap, they do shampoos and hair care here. LOL!

Peaches (...and creamy! Very creamy!) Thanks Lydia for another great review! The Texture ID line is one deserving wider recognition (& I totally agree with you that it should be sold at more stores other than Sally's Beauty). I first learned of the curl-defining, styling mousse/cream from Halfrican Beauty--who swore by it after doing a WnG demo. I excitedly went out and bought it right away b/c it was a 3-in-1 deal where it moisturized, defined and held the curls. Moreover, the fragrance is so soft and not sickeningly sweet (like other "tropical" or "fruity" or super-perfumey products). Sound too good to be true? IT DELIVERED ON ALL OF THE ABOVE! I LOVE THIS PRODUCT LINE! My only issue was that my hair is so used to little to no fragrance and my scalp is sensitive to fragrant ingredients--even a low-key, soft scent like this product line. As a result, my scalp felt itchy after about 1 week of using the defining cream. Other than that, I love this product. Thanks for trying out the shampoo and deep conditioner. I'm looking for a good shampoo and deep conditioner at an affordable price that doesn't require applying for a personal loan! I think I'll give it a try myself. Ms.EcStreet :)

🍑🍑I had to pick this product up after Halfrican Beauté got a wash and go from the styling cream. It's more of a gel-cream like the design essentials gel- cream imo🍑🍑

Peaches🍑 I am going to try the hair mask for sure! My hair LOVES glycerin just like you said it provides TONS of slip and hydration while allows for easy detangling especially for my 4b/4a coils.
It’s totally worth a try! It doesn’t have the best slip in the whole world but it is so creamy and melts right into your hair!! 🧡

I just discovered Texture ID when browsing around Sally's in a sort of lost and aimless manner. The associate there recommended it, and I need a new shampoo/conditioner so I went ahead and got the shampoo and conditioner. Will use the products for the first time in a day or two. Hopefully it's a good fit for me.
I love texture ID! I got put onto their styling creme by halfricanbeaute and I picked it from Sallys along with the mask, I just haven't had a chance to use the mask yet.

How often do you reccomend to use the masque? Sallys has 2 for $12 & 20% off textured hair! I LOVE the deep treatment masque with sweet almond oil, honey, & wheat protein. I have 3B,3C & a tiny bit of 4A curls. Im down past the bottom of my bra strap length & im still currently transitioning 14 months post relaxer & still going strong. I reccomded ordering from sallys for products. I try to order there once a week while their sales still last to get my moneys worth otherwise i get my products as Ross dress for less or the sellers website. I also bought the Texture ID coils detangling shampoo & conditioner (I have not tried these yet). I'm currently waiting on my 3rd sallys beauty shipping haul I ordered the texture ID coils self heating coils hair masque so I'm excited to try those as well as the Shea Moisture manuka honey & yogurt line, the manuka honey & mafura oil, & the power greens line, etc which I'll be new too! Sallys has some good sales & spending rewards. I can't wait. Beautiful hair BTW! Would love to see a video of the best leave in conditioners, deep conditioners & best masques video. Im also looking for the best detanglers for tangled, dry, matted hair & then super moisturizing shampoos that leave your hair soft & non damaging clarifying shampoos for the end 2022. Very interested in that! Thanks!

Lydia Tefera ok thanks! It works great but it leaves your hair so soft you would have to apply a gel. I'm going to try using eco styler black castor oil gel. Or maybe cantu shampoo, and conditioner, aussie moist 3 min deep conditioner, cantu concunt styling cream and then the eco black castor. Your videos has been helpful! You hair is beautiful!

I tried this line a couple of months ago and the mask made my hair really soft. Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to what ever fragrance they use in their products so I had to return them.

I love their spray leave in conditioner it comes out creamy but light weight. It’s a great leave in to put under heavy & thick cream/stylers. I want a try their styling cream next.🍑🍑

Ps I was wondering what I could use for the summer since I have a very similar hair type to you. I deep condition weekly or every other week depending on my hair and i tried a lot of defining cremes but my hair ALWAYS tends to frizz up in one day after a wash and go😭 any recommendations?

Is it safe for hair color ? I know it says sulfate free, but in the ingredients it clearly states it has sulfates.

I CANNOT STAND the smell of Texture ID. I bought the styling cream and the deep conditioner. I will have to put essential oils in the styling cream. The smell of their products nauseate me. But the cream is nice and the pricing is great. $10 cheaper than mizani. But they smell awful.
