I went to a private SDA college some years ago to study personal ministries and the entire year I attended it was so stressful. It felt like I was back in the Catholic church again. I was raised Byzentine Catholic but also attended a Roman Catholic church and went to their schools 4 years. The 4th year was my freshman high school year when I attended an all girls' Catholic academy. It was such a hateful environment from both students and staff that I gave up on God for years. To skip ahead, I eventually rediscovered Jesus and became SDA after that. When I was attending this SDA college I felt the same stress I had experienced in the Catholic schools, especially the all girl's school. The verbal, mental and emotional abuse I received during that year were enough to make a person have a nervous breakdown. The clique environment, the harsh academic standards, the callous lack of sympathy, constant stress and control every minute of the day, just like when I was raised Catholic. I later learned this is the same method Hitler used on the German youth. What is happening is Jesuits are either starting schools or infiltrating them so the youth who are the future of the church will graduate being Nazis for the papacy's cause, not suspecting they have been brainwashed. After that experience I have become firm on the principal of home schooling my children.
I agree Susan, after decades of purposely poor education and indoctrination, our government has most everybody where they want them: generations of people who are not comfortable with anything other than following the crowd and not asking too many questions. I was curious if you've ever listened to Bill Schnoebelen? I have a lot of his videos on my channel, he really helped open my eyes to Catholicism, Mormonism, Freemasonry, witchcraft, etc. He rose to the upper levels in each of those areas before finally finding his way to the simple gospel of Jesus. My experience at an SDA college was nothing like that. They were a little too relaxed and everyone was nice. But academic standards were definitely not harsh. They were too easy and mediocre. ...and I'm not an A student. I always struggled in school.
Susan Noel I came out of the Catholic church, I went to the Catholic schools 1-`12. I had a lot of questions but I didn't ask because I would get a lecture for hrs. I've never had a Bible till I had kids. Finally asked a priest he gave me one. When I started reading I realized they were not teaching what Jesus was teaching so I ask God to lead and guide me to find His church and I ended up at the SDA church.I say always look to Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him and stick to His words.
Sorry Susan. That institution is not a true Adventist institution according to God's standard. Jesuits run those too. Pray and ask God to show you the way.
I agree your only safety is Jesus and Know His word that is how I found God's true church, all because I asked for God's truth. I found I'm to keep my eyes on Jesus. God said towards the end of time many will hate the truth and the love of many will also go out. Jesus said hold out.

The samaritan woman at the well was an evangelist for Jesus in John 4. She did not speak presumptuously but merely stated what Jesus had said to her and thus her town was saved. Ellen has spoken as if she were speaking for God and had placed herself in the seat of Moses. God made a promise to Moses and Jesus reiterated that promise in Matthew 23. The warning is quite clear and simple. If you’re going to place yourself in the seat of Moses it would be better if you hung a millstone around your neck and jumped in the deepest part of the ocean.

One problem I have found with SDA.. I was suppose to be betting baptized into the church in a couple weeks, until I found out one of the vows are "do you believe God is a trinity".
i would like to help you understand that. read Genesis 1:26, Read 1 John 5:7, John 1:1, John 1:14, also read Matthew 28:19. baptism is a rebirth, now when you were you were born to whomever your parents are, being your authority. now being baptised you are born to GOD, which is stated in Matthew. it matters not what order you read it, but do read it for your own sake. No thanks Ricardo, I don't want man made traditions and rules corrupting my baptism. I would rather be baptized by faith, just like all the converts throughout the entire bible, than have to agree to 28 different doctrines just to be a "member of the church".
that's okay. I have been just about every other religion. Buddhist, New age philospher, Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Moravian, salvation army, etc it's alot to write. the best advice I can give you is search the bible for yourself and then search for a church that teaches the word.
I agree, I attend a SDA church myself since imo it's the closest to the truth :) I don't believe they hold all the truth however! I agree we all have to search scripture ourselves. Show ourselves approved to Yah.

We have the first, the third, and the ninth editions of GREAT CONTROVERSY, and several editions after that which are not numbered; and not one of them gave credit for the facts and thoughts she used from other authors. She published many editions after her attention was called to her plagiarisms before she gave credit. It must have taken her helpers a long time to search out her plagiarized portions. GREAT CONTROVERSY was first published in 1884, and proper credits were not given until the edition of 1911, a period of 27 years. You can put all the confidence you care to on Elder Spicer's "immediately."

This is not true. It did obtain. In 1891 T. DeWitt Talmage, in his book FROM MANGER TO THRONE, gives credit to thirty-three authorities from which he drew his material; and Edersheim, in his LIFE AND TIMES OF JESUS THE MESSIAH, published in 1883, cites no less than 300 authorities. It was always recognized as a sin and a crime to use other people's thoughts, without credit. Some had tried to excuse Mrs. White's plagiarisms because of her youth and inexperience; but, when she wrote GREAT CONTROVERSY she was fifty-seven years old. She had already been writing nearly forty years.

Who told you the SDA church believes Christ was evil? That is extremely far off from what the official Seventh-Day Adventist Church body teaches, as well as from what Scripture teaches. We believe as the majority of Christianity believed-that Christ was 100 % God and 100 % man and that He never sinned, which allowed Him to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Nor does the church teach that a Gentile has to become Jewish, although we find value in some things that the Jews did, such as
"Washington in the Lap of Rome" by Fulton; search it for an in-depth 19th century account of events and methods to subvert Constitutional order and more; . "Having laid the lineal repercussions of Romanism, Mr. Fulton has reminded us of our vigilance in keeping Liberty alive. Liberty for all men is rooted in faith."

When she said that, she did not mean that He was a sinner, only that He became a man, and that we are by nature sinful. (See Psalm 51:5) However, we know that Christ never sinned. That's why she said He was "pure and undefiled."

Remember a metaphor is only a metaphor if there’s a universal truth attached to it; If there’s not truth attached to the metaphor, it’s fantasy. The metaphors, symbols and parables in the Bible are the tools to teach us a reality. If there’s no reality, then it’s fantasy.
•You get harmonized truth from the Bible (God’s Word), life experience, and studying God’s creation (Science). Using only one of these for all your truth will hinder your walk with God and you’ll still believe in many lies of Satan.
•Bread, water, and wine in the Bible symbolically represents the truth about Christ’s healing remedy.
•God is not the source of pain, misery, and suffering.
•God’s Word (The Bible) is not a rule book or a declaration that we are to take without thought. It’s a revelation of God to enlighten us of His true Character, His methods, how reality works, and to bring us back into a trusting relationship with Him.
•We must read and contemplate what we are reading which means we must think and reason.
•The Word “Statutes” in the Bible can also mean enactment.
•The sanctuary in the Old Testament is a theatre about the salvation process.
•Blaspheming God is to misrepresent God’s Character.
•To commit spiritual fornication in the Bible is to commit idolatry.
•The Old Testament foreshadows the Messiah many times through types (For example, Joseph, Joshua, Samson have parts of their life that foreshadow Jesus’s Character, His life, and/or His death).
•You’ll know what’s being preached about God is true if what they say is in harmony with God’s Character of Love, His methods of love, and His design Laws, especially His design law of love.
•God’s enemies are lies, fear, and selfishness.
•God wants us to worship Him because what we behold is what we become (Design Law of worship). He’s an infinite God and as we behold Him we become more like Him in Character. With worshipping the things of this world there can only be degradation.
•Conversion is not an acknowledgement of Jesus as Savior. It’s when we surrender ourselves to Christ and love Him and others more than self.
•The winepress Of God’s wrath represents the lies and selfishness that are built up are being destroyed with the unrestrained rivers of truth and love flowing from God.

I used to be a 'conspiracy'-skeptical sda. It requires a foundation of hard evidence to convict a loyal sda. I suggest next time you include a lot of hard evidence along with testimony. I suggest that the woman who "unknowingly married a catholic priest" does not have a lot of credibility since it strongly appears that she divorced her husband for non-biblical reasons. She apparently has not acknowledged that this was a sin. She ought to acknowledge that, biblically, she is not to marry again.

I don't know what you think you know about Adventists, but there have NEVER been any Jesuits that started the Seventh-Day Adventist church, and it's not a cult. It's a denomination, just like Baptists, just like Catholics, just like Wesleyans, and all other beliefs. That's mean. I'm 22 and don't like or do anything having to do with cults. Maybe you should do more research before you claim something like calling a DENOMINATION a cult. That's just rude.
