We don't need to understand a language to place the language, and most people who've had a bit of experience/interaction with Koreans can generally tell Korean apart from Chinese or Japanese or other Asian languages...
This is also the first Korean song I memorized 20 years ago and this is the type that I like, not what they have nowadays. I do like many contemporary slower Korean songs from their solo artists.
