I knew about Em when he broke through, but I wasn't on rap then. Had few songs I liked, but no place to widen the taste back then. I only "found" him in 2010, when I needed it and since that day it's been going strong. I guess I was old enough when Revival dropped, because it was my soundtrack on the slopes that spring.
The reason I caught on him, is the fact that he raps cleanly, meaning the pronunciation being clean. I could keep up, even though english isn't my first language. Plus the fact that there's something to grip when you feel like falling.
These drugs for the next one or the 30min freestyle with d12 it goes crazy if you just search d12 freestyle it’s like the first one

Dude, Limewire (And Kazaa) was the f*cking worst. Bleep-bloop-scratch your way to a slow connection then start downloading a 4mb song and the next morning when it was finally done it was a looped chorus of some N-Sync song instead of what you were downloading! Probably spent more money keeping that connection open all night than just buying the album as well.

Eminem saved Dre’s career and wouldn’t perform without 50cent at that show. MGK is never playing a superbowl or getting into the rock and roll hall of fame.

Everything I said is a fact and can be backed up from an industry standpoint. You however brought no facts to the table and just told me how MGK has been working in other genres before the battle. Thats obvious. Eminem was being prospected by multiple artists. Dre even admits that Eminem saved his career. Everything is well documented my friend. Eminem was coming regardless. Thats like me saying MGK would be nothing without Diddy, his gf, or interscope. If you want to have a discussion atleast bring facts to the table. How many diamond albums does MGK have? Is he an elite lyricist? No real hip hop head that’s that dude serious anymore.
