I’ve been doing a Grange Hill marathon on You Tube from series 1. I’m on series 4 now. It’s absolutely brilliant. It reminds me of the film Dazed & Confused.
same here doing a marathon ,great to watch they are series 11 now i up too .
Been using RUclips to watch it since 2017. I think that Series 2-4 have been taken down. All I see on there now are Series 1 and Series 5+
I’m currently bingeing on.Britbox,am on series 6, it was all part of our youth and reminded you that back then teachers could discipline you without getting stabbed or punched, there are warnings before each episode…oh how times have changed…loving rewatching it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ME TOO! Bingeing and currently on 6-15. When I was young I saw it from around series 8 onwards. But Tucker and Trisha...and others, they seemed to disappear so fast. Sad, but looking forward to seeing my old favourites.
‘Faye’ looking gorgeous ❤
I grew up watching Grange Hill in the 80's and love it so much. I had many crushes on the various girls and could so relate to it. Fond memories but always missed the flying sausage in the titles and was disappointed when updated. Still love it anyway. Thank you to all the Grange hill cast
flying sausage?????I missed that too.
I loved the shy geeky boy Justin and Ziggy
5:04 Why is big Al in the audience and not on stage with the rest of them??
No room for him
oh the memories...............
Canadians know about Grange Hill, because the show was broadcasted on CBC Television.
I fancied Mrs Booth
I think we all did mate! 😆
These days it would be Mr Booth which says it all about today's awful society
nearest thing recently has been Tracey Beaker and the dumping ground series
Tuckers still wearing the same jacket
Why do they blur out the photos?
My question exactly! It's like watching snooker on the radio!
@@stevehaddon8224 But they didn't blur out the one of Benny!
@@stevehaddon8224Dave Lee Travis made a career out of snooker on the radio
What happened to Joann Kenny? So young.
Who is that in red?
Linda Slater, who played Susi McMahon in series 2 - 5
@@ClipSaladwow she's stunning!! Although I didn't fancy her at the time of watching Grange Hill!!
Fay Lucas... Tucker Jenkins... Row-land... and don't know the other one. Brilliant series. One of the best. But Alan (George Armstrong) should have been on the panel. That's Suzi? Blimey! HOT! Never have recognized her!
When the camera pans to the audience, I recogniise the recently deceased actor who played Alan and I recognise Hughesy,,, but who is the lady in the middle wearing glasses?
It's Nadia Chambers.😅
Thanks for the answer cheers!
@@margaretspillane8342 Anette Firman?
@@margaretspillane8342 Well spotted. I wouldn't have noticed it was her.
@@BillyJango I met her at the filming of GH in 1983 at Greyhound Road Fulham.
Gutsy hasn’t changed
Time is a very curious thing...
Time is actually an illusion because the more you think about it the faster it moves. Forget it and you become calmed and mire relaxed and it slows down.
And where is Rolands' friend?
Not there but these are the one who were in Grange Hill when it started in 1978 up until early 80s shame it never featured others such as Simone Hyams who was calley Donnington from 1985 to 1991 but she left she was actually 20 although meant to have been 17
Ps your not her are you be any chance would love to know
Where are you going Ro-LAND?
North west london where it was filmed is ruined today
Remember when i was a boy, our dad would take us greyhound racing in wembley stadium, and one of the cast of grange hill was there.
Back when london was civilised back in 1980s, and people shared same culture, and people understood what we all had in common.
I can watch tuckers luck, seeing how harlesden used to be in 1980s
Harlesden is a black hood today, where whites have to be careful walking around at night.
Totally ruined.
For me, i cannot watch grange hill as a show now, from when i was a kid, although sure many who was in kids in 1980s will watch grange hill again, to remember those times when we were all kids in 1980s london
It was a great show as a kid, and was so like going to school as a kid in 1980s london.
Funny you refer to 80s London as "civilised". People who grew up in 50s-70s London would say otherwise
Ro-land
A lot are dead now.... sad
loved gh ax
