On M11 change vibration damper at 700,000 or rebuild. I learned the hard way when crank broke and sounded like tranny gears. good motor though 400 Celect recon was 13,500$ in 2007 ran a lot of miles
So, can you do cylinder one and cylinder six? at the same time because they are on the same stroke or cylinder two and cylinder five because they are on the same stroke
The accessory drive pulley position A is 1 & 6, B is 5 & 2, C is 3 & 4. When the ‘‘A’’ mark is aligned with the pointer, the intake and exhaust valves for cylinder number one must be closed. If these conditions are not correct, cylinder num- ber six must be ready to set. Set the injector and valves on the cylinder that both the intake and exhaust valve rocker lever arms are loose and can be moved from side to side by hand.

It’s treated me well since the rebuild. But I honestly don’t personally have enough time with it to give you and honest answer. But o do have several friends that have them and they swear by them. You won’t be the fastest on the road but If you drive it right you’ll be getting new truck fuel mileage which really helps right now.

Hey yall i got a 2001 cummins ISM. The oil starts out at 65 psi then drops into the teens after warming up and it drops at the filter head Ive ruled out pump, guage, leaks, injectors, jakes while everything on the valve train looks good. I had a 12 hour diagnostic that ensured the internals had normal ware. I recently had the injectors in cylinder 2 replaced as well as a rocker arm on the same cylinder replaced. I used the truck for two days and had to bring it back to the same shop. The mechanic informed me that there was a wire broken on the number 2 jake assembly. And now insists that it wasnt from the work they did but dosent know whats wrong with it please any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Do you have use some for the injectors to set to the spec?

It’s a 330 set at 400 I could set it a 450 but 400 suits me for what the truck does
