    Things I liked about this video:
    1. The failing Dewalt tools yet to be replaced with something from 2005 or newer.
    2. The underwear drawer.
    3. The fact you spent 3000 dollars on a ladder (holy moly!).
    4. The sarcastic comedy.
    5. Chad.
    6. Michelle verbally applauding you at the end. 😂😂😂😂😂
    Keep it up!

    I enjoy your videos so much. Extremely thoughtful to offset it. Working hard to have an overland LMTV of my own one day.

    Good stuff Sir plus a man never needs to explain himself about being in the underwear drawer :P

      Yea, but why was the tripod in the underwear drawer? Does Michelle know, or was it her idea? 😳

    Nice video of the GlobeTrekker boarding ladder! I have loved mine over the past year. Bill and Dave are great to work with and are really passionate about ensuring the overland community has great products like this. See you out on the road!

    Demolition Sawzall blade would do that cut pretty good.

    • @BrokeOverLand
      @BrokeOverLand  Год назад +1

      I did use a sawzall for some of it. To be honest I threw just about every portable tool I have at it at one point or another.

      @@BrokeOverLand secrete is in the "demolition" blade for metal. Didn't know they existed till ran across one then tried it...... was surprised how fast it cut thru our C channel

      Well, he knows for next time, I guess.

      It is definitely going to cut into how aggressive I can get off road, until I can put that c-channel on a captured spring system to reduce the torque.

    the offset door plan is correct, i missed that detail when i did mine and though it works a bit of toe room would have been better. my many angle grinder scars where twitching when u switched to the grinder.

    • @BrokeOverLand
      @BrokeOverLand  Год назад +2

      The angle grinder is the one tool that has caused the most damage to me second only to the bench grinder.

    Window box in your upper C? I can barely wait to see how you reinforce it. Good luck.

    I had a hard time throwing a like on this one, because I didn't wanna be #70, lol. But, I laughed way too hard at you drilling upside down...I hate when that happens! Speaking of what happens...what happens when your drill batteries die...can you even get those anymore?! Anyway...looks like a great addition...those are some nice stairs! And of course...you had to do the obligatory stair inspection in your safety shoes 😂

      I’ve been trolling garage sales and pawn shops. There are still quite a few out there, but the 18volt are getting few and far between. Might be time to update the tool set. :)

    No wonder you waited a year to install these. Cutting the upper rails looked like a miserable job! The end result looks great and much safer than the step ladder!
