Eduardo Ballerini is an extremely gifted narrator. The emotion put into this audiobook conveys the horror of the dilemmas. Dean Koontz is one of my favorite authors. Tysvm for covering this story. It's a book I have never read myself. Keep up the great work on this channel, please. 💕
WOW… my first Dean Koontz book, audio or otherwise… wonderful & gifted narration. Horrible, nasty, sad, cheesy, funny, and most of all endearing !!! It is the first of many in my near future… THANK YOU SOO MUCH❤
This was a really great book! The person reading the book makes it real! I really enjoyed this book. I just wish more Dean Koontz books would be posted on RUclips. I especially enjoy the animals...
Awesome reading!! I own this book and read it several years ago. It was nice to have it read to me. Excellent narration and as usual, another Dean Koontz best seller.
I absolutely LOVE this book!! I love how incredibly sick and demented this monster is, he's truly a vile creature! Dean Koontz really knows how to spin a web, the characters are so well written, I'll be it disturbing in this case and he nails it!
I find it incredibly sad and difficult to listen to this story harping on about the evils this man is considering and the sick contemplations he has with his Target and feel it so unnecessary that Dean, such a good writer, has to considered it necessary to include in his writing, personally I found it so difficult to listen to that I fast forwarded it an hour at a time to get past it😭😭😭
I felt the same way about his book the Vision (visions?) It was way to graphic and so unnecessary. You can get the story out and point across without detailed rape and sick gratuitous psychotic murders.
Same… Partway in and I’m so disgusted that this is the *last* Koontz book I will try. I don’t need need to listen to this poison. This isn’t the first time that I’ve started one of his books, impressed with his writing, only to reach a point where I’m sorry I ever began. Usually it’s because of his tiresome, libertarian political rants, but this time it’s just unnecessarily vulgar and disturbing. I don’t want an inside view of a brutal monster’s mind.
Koontz writes primarily horror. Sometimes his stories involve the supernatural and sometimes there are sci-fi elements. But the real horror in most of Koontz's work is rooted in human depravity...the evil thoughts and deeds within human capability. If that's not your cup, you are right to turn away and seek the work of other authors. But if you're game, try it out. It's quite good.
Such a weak and pathetic society we live in today. To seriously believe you will be traumatized by listening to a fictional story. Its incredibly self centered. More of the me me me mentality.
I always enjoy a great story by Dean Koontz. But I have a difficult time listening to Eduardo Ballerini as a narrator. He’s just so whiny. Sometimes sounds like he’s about to burst into tears. A truly tedious performance.

Don't understand the bad comments. It was a story well told. Koontz never disappoints!
Agree 💯 the whole thing point of these stories is that they explore difficult subjects/emotions
I 💯 agree with your comment. Koontz is so awesome, and I truly love his adoration of all animals. ❤

Eduardo Ballerini, narrator - a treat! 👍
Mr Koonz - you outdid yourself in character array alone, but you had me at 'dog'. ❤
Yes, indeed! Did not know his name, but his narrations make Dean Koontz's novels so much better!
@@darlene1417 Ballerini narrates in many genres and performss many accents and dialects well.
Powerful horror, soft sweet moments and a dash of humor. Had to turn my lights on.

Albeit
Captivating, almost gives a feeling there might still be a chance for this world! Horror, love and black humour - I really enjoyed this.
Excellent narration ❤
Funny how two names were resurrected by Koontz ...Hiscus and Nacre were lawyers in Koonts' book "From the corner of his eye".
I love Koontz.
I loved this book. The dog thing was awesome.
Thanks for making this one available. 🏅🏅🏅
A great book in the horror genre don't listen to these people who expect a horror n9vel to be like a Hallmark movie 😅😅😅
Loved this book ❤
This book goes along with the others written about Moonlight Bay. Seize the Night and one other I have read, both awesome books
Agree. He talks about "Wyvern Castle" maybe he will weave this into the third Snow book.
Wow Dean. You got some people commenting that your Horror is too disturbing… Well Done Sir. The Snowflakes are falling…

Glad you found a way to get past it
It's called horror ok?

Find a g rayed book
Good book but way too many ads
You could subscribe to RUclips and remove the ads. Well worth the monthly fee.
I didn't have any ads, and I'm not a premium user. Sorry that happened to you. This is another awesome book by Koontz. 💕
Wow, the awful comments have put me right off trying this book, thanks for the heads up. Sounds traumatic.
Try it. It's good, but it talks about difficult subjects.

Not complete, missing ending.
Couldn't get past the first 30 mins, it was boring for me.
For me, the freaky undertone of the narrator spoils this. Cost-free or not: This sux!

Yet he is still infinitely superior to AI.
Excellent narration ❤
