Thank you Tyler! I stitched right through the lining. The trick is to keep it as flat as possible. A little 3M or similar spray glue will help it from shifting temporarily but that won't last long. Just do your best not to add stitches while the patch isn't flat. Take your time with every stitch. If you don't like a stitch, take the needle off and pull that single one back out. Good luck man and happy new year!
Hey bro that jacket is a Master piece, where did you buy it ? is there a web site where I can find it? and I have other question what vintage color is it? greetings
Thanks so much man! I just grabbed the coat off of Amazon because it was a great deal. It wasn't "olive green" but "vintage green" and had the big brass zippers instead of the steel or black ones. I'm pretty sure if you search "alpha industries vintage green flight jacket" you'll find one somewhere. Another option is eBay. Lastly, you can go directly to the company by either checking out their website, or by calling their customer service department. All of the patches were sourced from eBay. Some are real and some are well made repros. Good luck man!!
Guess you’re too young to understand how devastating Napalm was to the citizens of Vietnam, indiscriminate horrible fiery death. It’s a great jacket and l love the patches, just not the sentiment of those particular ones.
Chill out. I'm not stupid. It's a jacket and a piece of history. Why don't you pay attention to what's happening right now on planet Earth instead of wasting my time talking to me like I'm a teenager. Get the hell out of here.
Epic, fantastic job. I'm gonna patch up my CWU45 with Jolly Rogers " Fighting 103 " patches👍🏻
Right on Sasha! Consider posting your work on here or other social media once finished! I'd love to see it! 🏴☠️

Thanks so much man! I'm having a rare bad day today and this lifted my spirits up quite a lot! Have a great day buddy!
Nice video! Congratulations. I have a question, I would like to make my own, I’m 6 ft and 80 kg, do you think the size L fits well? Thanks man!
Great work… how do you attach the patches? did you remove the lining to sew them on? or did you stitch through the lining?

Yes I wouldn't do this to a vintage jacket. They're too rare.
