- On this adventure, we will be visiting Juliette, GA to check out the town and take pictures. Juliette is a small community towards middle Georgia. It is quiet and peaceful here and an all around cool place to come visit with the shops, The Whistle Stop Cafe, and seeing different filming locations from the movie, Fried Green Tomatoes, which was filmed here in this town. Enjoy!

I worked in Juliette for over a year at the nearby Plant Sherer power plant,I love that part of Georgia.My wife and I lodged in Forsyth Georgia for most of the duration of the job, also enjoying the small town feel of it.
It's cool that you worked over at the power plant. I agree. That part of Georgia is a quiet, slow paced area away from the city. It is also a nice place to be.

I live on the outskirts of of Juliette Ga.
Why would they pave the road ,,it should of been kept original ,,it goes with time and year of the township when it was established ,,it was a great movie ,, one of my dear friends and her family are from Georgia not far from Juliette ,,so loved the movie ,,i made some fried green tomatoes for my husband before he,s from Mississippi he loved them
I've been here twice and ate in the café. The FGTs are delicious. 👍
