EAA Trimotor Gives Rides at the War Eagles Museum

Local EAA chapter 1570 in cooperation with the War Eagles Air Museum and VIVA FORD of El Paso, Texas has sponsored this opportunity for the public to experience, first hand, what it was like to fly in a then "modern airliner" back in 1928, 89 years ago! The last visit of the vintage Ford Trimotor airliner to the Sta. Teresa international Jetport near El Paso, Texas was two years ago and set all time records for the number of riders taken aloft. This weekend's rider count will also be in the hundreds based upon how busy the antique craft has been the past three days.
