Nobody is mentioning the fact that slugcats are SAPIENT BEINGS. They have been known to create tribes and tell stories, and that is quite difficult to emulate in an animal. So, people are suggesting that they would like to essentially keep a short person as a pet.

If slugcats were real I’d instantly get one as a pet, especially if there was multiple variants kinda like rivulet and Saint because they look unique, I’d definitely buy the kind of scug that saint is
Honestly having a slugcat as a pet would probably be considered animal cruetly since you essentialy have an animal that's more intelligent than an elephant whom travels long distances, socialize with their species, and require a lot of space and resources. It's just unethical all around.
