I'm so used to seeing the channels that just spam these out that seeing you actually take the time to make sure you were doing their measurements correctly as opposed to just using vertical = height for everything was immensely refreshing. Great work on this.
When Exeggutor’s Alolan Form is bigger than the tree it’s based on 🤯 I wonder if Oak heard his deceased loved one’s voices calling out to him when he walked past G-Max Gengar’s mouth
Firstly, the palm tree technically there's roots beneath the surface. So exeggutar probably has its legs as the length of the roots. As for the professor hearing the voices, probably not considering how soullessly he marches for nothing more than to compare his mortal size to the Pokémon
I feel like people dont get that pokedex sizes are probably the averages obviously. Its not like all dogs of the same breeds are the same sizes are they?
They are. In Pokémon GO, Let's Go, and Legends: Arceus, individual Pokémon have their own heights and weights, and the averages are always the values listed by the Pokédex. Legends: Arceus, Scarlet, and Violet also visually show size variation (and S/V are true scale for most Pokémon up to a certain size). In those games, height varies between 80% and 120% of the average, with weight in Legends: Arceus being scaled both by the value used to scale height and an additional 80% to 120% variation on top of that.
I’m confused about some of these sizes cause apparently slowpoke is the same size as electrode when it doesn’t even look like it is it the same size when it stands up up or something?
I stopped after playing Pokémon after Gen 2 so you can understand that this is hell of confusing for me. Why does each Pokémon have like 5 variations now??
Including all forms of gen 1 Pokemon. I guess a more accurate title would be "Pokemon Size Comparison - #1-151 - All Forms - Size Order" but that's not as searchable.
@@Biochao Thanks. It's actually a list of suggestions to pick from. 1. James' Graveler and Jessie's Machamp from _Journeys_ fight, to settle an argument between their trainers. Includes four-arm wrestling. Jirachi turns Graveler into a gigantic Alolan forms and Machap Gmax evolves. 2. Kadaba and Braixen duel with their stick and spoon. Then evolve. Mega Alakzam and Delphox the witch. More magical dueling. 3. If you're really up for a challnege, I have a sequel vision of The Punchy Pokemon from season 1. Brock was able to enter Geodude in the Fighting Pokemon tournmanet. I can think of other fighting-like Pokemon. 4. Grookey and Braixen duel with their sticks, physically and magically, and Grookey wins and gives the other's stick to Chimchar. Now they're monkey partners with wands.
But, I want to say that the business I applied for delayed answering my follow-ups, and they're no longer hiring. This means I'm stuck at my current job with my boss, which bums me out. So please, let me hear from you ASAP, whether or not you can make a video. I'd sacrifice my boss's week off for a prompt reply. You can imagine how hard it is to be patient after the other delay.
@@Biochao Ooh, I like his ideas. Graveler and Machamp because they're tough guys with four arms and alternative forms; Kadabra/Alakazam and Braixen/Delphox because they're armed psychic foxes based on witchcraft/wizardry (big Harry Potter fan); Grookey and Braixen because they're starter Pokemon who wield a stick (plus Chimchar with a fire wand and monkey partner is GENIUS); and the Punchy Pokemon sequel because, having found Geodude's illegal entry interesting, I wouldn't mind seeing who else would be allowed. I mean, it isn't in stone that non-fighting Pokemon can't enter, considering Geodude. I wanna know what John is thinking. I'm gonna personally assume Geodude's evolved form would be allowed in. So yeah, which video are you thinking? I'll subscribe.

FINALLY somebody got the proportions of Dratini and Ekans correct with the length size as opposed to height.
Someone tried to argue with me that Ekans was taller then Arcanine 🙄🙄🙄
Didn’t Pokémon itself claim that dragonair and dratini were tall like 13 feet tall for dragonair or something?
What about that big Dragonite from the show? He was huge

Gigantmax Eevee looks interesting

13:29 why does dratini and arbok look so weird standing up💀
I'm slightly taller than Aerodactyl, and yet it's always portrayed as massive.

How on earth was a Ponyta knee height on Oak????
I love this vid but anyone else questioning that Golduck is taller than charizard
Technically it says they’re both 5ft 7in but I’m not sure how accurate any of this is
Pokemon of the same height are listed according to pokedex number. That’s why charizard comes first
