This is kinda nostalgic for me since this was my first ever RUclips poop. I thought, "RUclips poop? Hmmmm..." but then I read "director's cut" and, me being the young idiot i was, thought this was actually from the director or somebody important from Sega. As I watched it for the first time, I started thinking how unprofessional it really was from cussing to making fun of their own games. But regardless, I thought it was pretty funny. Of course now I know the truth and just laugh at my younger self. We all start somewhere, people lol

If only there was more time for them to create a story... like why Troll eater hates emeralds, and why sonic didn't get frozen. I mean, I've got my theories, but...
You know what? Screw it, imma tell it: I think Sonic got out unscathed because he's gone super so many times over the series, he basically IS super in his normal state, due to all the energy he picked up (this is canon in the Archie comics more or less, but not confirmed in the games). This provides Sonic not only with the insane boost power he has, but in this case negated the effects of Time Eater, letting Sonic move through time more freely. As for why Classic Sonic would, if he hadn't gone super anywhere near as much? Well, keep in mind you couldn't even play Green hill act 1 again until Modern Sonic restored it. And that the first cutscene that you see Classic sonic after he got ambushed was the one where tails was being revived...
