Great I like unorthodox kicks like that Brazilian kick best one, although don't think I could hit head that close lol,it works for you though because don't even go off balance
nice video as usual. i would like to see this kick in a shadowbox situation, just to see the rotation of the feet, hips, etc
Like an inward cresent kick almost. My favourite kick
sir, why do I hurt my hips every time I kick in the air. Be it a roundhouse kick or a 360 rotated kick.?
This is actually the one I've always used because I didn't have the flexibility for a normal Thai roundhouse. Can only get those around mid rib height.
good one always used this kick on the bag but never in sparring or fights because I wasn't sure if it would do enough damage
The variations on the roundhouse kick in Muay Thai are not utilised as much in the west as they are back in Thailand. This was can be used to great effect in this way as Andy capably demonstrates! Glad you enjoyed it!
Top video. Similar to some below, I lack the flexibility to do the "typical" head kick and this is what I tend to do as well. However, I've had instances, because I'm not properly "turning it over" where my ankle collides with the head and sometimes a raised elbow. That really hurts (me). Any advice?
Idk if you are so close to kick, you can be easily countered just by simple cross, so you woun't even finish that kick. You can hide it in combination with some punches, but if you can kick fast normal high / round it can pontentionally make more damage or just stun the opponent even better. And kicking so straight up can end in kick to the elbow which is horrible. Pros / cons hmm.
Filip Mockovciak I’ve used it in 97 professional fights and it’s worked so I’ll stick to my way thanks
thats a very quick kick idk if its muay thai.
